From yesterday's AM+9 to PM+9, Bama looked like he was headed toward green but he has slowed and decided to surf the upper 100s. At least, he is below renal threshold. He got up from his bed for his tests and snacks last night and ate well this morning. Had a really hard poop last night that didn't dislodge from his butt until after he left the litter box. Then it hit the floor with a thud. No smears. No harm. No foul. He had a couple smaller poops after amps that landed in the box. I had given him Miralax in pmps meal and gave psyllium husk powder in his pumpkin for breakfast. I don't know whether one works better than the other.

LOL! This is the only place I know where poop descriptions in detail are understood...and appreciated...:p:D:joyful::eek:

Glad to hear Bama is surfing below renal threshold...most days I'm happy for the same for Luci!

Have a great day!

Good job taking care of Bama.

how often are you doing fluids?
Almost daily. Had to miss a couple days and give less than 100 mls a couple days due to Bama getting wiggly and just about dislodging the needle. Got roughly 75 mls on those days, though. Starting a new bag tomorrow. Last bag lasted 12 days from first use through last which was today. Bama is still begging me to syringe water into his mouth. If I give him one syringe-full, he wants more. I do this several times a day. Can't imagine it would hurt anything.

No, it won’t hurt at all! It’s fantastic that he wants to have water syringed into his mouth. Water by mouth is the most beneficial and safest water of all! Safer than subcutaneous fluids. Water by mouth won’t end up as a pleural effusion. It will go in and out of the digestive/urinary tract. That’s why we so often add water to their food. This is good!
