Mowgli dropped really hard last night and had a nice green surf, I was surprised this morning when he hadn’t bounced. I left out some 8% and some 3% mixed with 13% so I wouldn’t have to worry too much about his BG while I’m at work.

his poor little chin is swollen from the crown amputation yesterday and his left lip is drooping slightly. He’s due for metacam at 1pm but I won’t be giving it to him until 6 so I hope he won’t suffer too much today... poor boy.

hopefully he heals quickly :)

have a great day everyone!

I hope he and you spend a good night :bighug:
Mowgli was such a sleepy baby last night, he seemed to do fairly well, thanks for thinking of us :)
I'm so glad all went well and Mowgli is safely home with you again.
I am really surprised that the vet needs reminding that Mowgli is a diabetic...... that is basic stuff and not something that should be forgotten.. diabetic cats having operations should get priority in the line up of cases.
It’s so frustrating! They should at least read his chart before seeing him! You would think they would consider him somewhat of a special case... ahh well. I will just bring it up right away when I’m at the vet from now on
Perfect. We will be glad to help but more important is that you reduce by 0.25u for numbers below 40. ;)
Gotcha! Lesson learned

Poor Mowgli...I sure hope he's starting to feel better today...taking off a toof is a big deal...I don't think I'd be feeling very well myself...

I hope he does ok with the reducie and starts to get back to his more perky self soon :)
