Good Morning LL. Happy Caturday.

WCR: Tuffy is fine. Leg all better. She is enjoying the down comforter immensely. She does not want to share. Fairly quiet week with the antics. Tried to steal the new bag of chicken treats but got caught in the act. She finally relinquished my sweatshirt. YEAH. She did take the candles out of the advent wreath and was batting them around on the floor. Silly kitty.

I am taking today off from the barn. Had equine check-ups yesterday. My baby (Khoko) weighs 1185. The vet named him the Tank. Pami also got a great check-up, thank heavens. Weather was great yesterday, can't say the same for today. Rainy and cool (50). Going to try and make some cookies and accomplish some things here. Not going out at all. My cold has not improved yet but at least the strep throat is gone. More honey, liquor and lemon - if I have enough I won't care if I accomplish anything.

Give me Fl weather over this ice any day was just talking to my DH yesterday that we are going to have to move one day to warmer climate, or go south for winter :lol: anyway must be so enjoyable to have horses :razz: and wonderful that Tuffy is ok now ;-) :mrgreen:
 
:lol: :lol: i think your medicinal idea is SPOT ON! hope the cold is gone quickly, but my prescription would include preventative liquor applied lavishly at any time...

Oh what a great WCR/WBR! Never a dull moment with Tuffy huh. She sounds great. I am glad that you got your sweatshirt back, and that he leg is all better. Funny with the candles - I wonder what the attraction was...

Sorry that you are sick - get better soon. Bring on those toddy's :lol: :lol: they will cure anything. Very nice on the horses - wow 1185 pounds? omg. enjoy you day off from the barn - stay dry, bake lots. :-D
 
I'm glad you're feeling better and plan on taking a day off. I'm also happy Tuffy is back to normal -- Queen of her demesne.

As for weather, our high for the day is 22. Wanna trade?
 
Well, best intentions. Tuffy decided we needed to take a nap, so I did. All 3 hours of one. Guess she knew I did not feel well. Sooooooooo, I accomplished nothing except normal stuff and a nice snugglie nap with the Queen.

She is not very hungry today. PMBG 68. Hope all have a good night.
 
68 is pretty darn great! Glad you rested today....I bet that will help you feel even better from now on.
A lot of healing goes on when we sleep. Hope you have a great evening Barb!
