Yesterday

Someone needs to pinch me! :shock: Wow, this run is the best we've ever seen..antijinx

Had a great night last night. He helped us wrap the Christmas presents. Dove into the box of bows and came up with them everywhere! :lol: :lol: , next he headed for the rolls of ribbon and stretched those out from the family room to the hallway. He attacked the boxes every chance he got, to say nothing of what he was trying to do to the tape. DH looked at me and said -'He's getting better, thank you for your dedication - I finally believe'. :cry: antijinx. It was nice to hear but I had to explain to him that we wouldn't be anywhere without this wonderful, fabulous community. So thanks to all of you for helping me and my boy.

Went up just a tiny bit last night, but came back down. Amazing...

He wore himself out playing so hard last night as after the wrapping he had to hit his new ''yellow duck'', yes, it has catnip and he went wild!! (early Christmas present). I have 2 more for him for Christmas day. A 'doggie' and a 'grinch' so should be fun. I had to wake him at midnight for a test and food, then he jumped in bed with me and slept until 3:45AM. That's my boy!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day today and hope all beans and babies are safe. Still sending vines, special prayers to those that need them.

Your WCR (whole cat report) has me grinning -- and not just from the image of Scratchie "helping" you wrap presents. It's so good to hear that he's feeling better and that your DH also sees the improvement. What a wonderful holiday present for you both!

Finally ....! Scratchie is getting more blues and getting more comfortable in them.
Paws crossed that this new trend is here to stay!

His appetite is not great when he is this low. He will eat but it takes coaxing - any ideas??

I couldn't get home today from work to test, but I will definitely come home tomorrow around +5.5 to see what's going on with his numbers. Hope he keeps surfing this way but it is nerve wracking when I'm at work.

Going to wrap more presents tonight! Should be fun! :-D :-D

When Furball wasn't wanting to eat, people suggested I try baby food. If you try this, get the kind with just beef or chicken and broth. Make sure it doesn't have any veggies in it. I don't know how this affects BG, but if he won't eat and he is low, it is better than not eating.

A lot of cats LOVE baby food. (Gabby -- not so much.) Gerber Stage 2 has cornstarch and is about 7%. Beechnut is just meat and broth so it may be 1 or 2% tops.

Also, when you say Scratchie doesn't eat, do we mean nothing or is his appetite decreased. Once cats are better regulated, their appetite is much less.
 
Thanks everyone for the ideas. You're right Sienne, his appetite has decreased. Guess it's hard to get used to.
