WOO HOO! WOOT! SWEET! Look at yesterday! we made GREEN!!!! boy it seems like it has been forever that I have been able to say that, when it really only has been 8 days.... the day yesterday was nice - a slow slide from the yellows to the blues to the greens. Mannie's +2 drops were a bit dramatic... but then again this is Mannie... He either has you saying "whoa - slow up!", or "omg what is taking him sooooooooo longggggggggggg". there is no middle ground. :lol: :lol: I am just glad that the dose change 8+ cycles ago seems to be on board. Lubs ya big guy - you've done great! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D Mannie is still camped out under the Christmas tree. He let me know in no uncertain terms that he has his spot, and that I had better not place any presents there. My attempt was met with a rather forceful push from his rear legs. :lol: :lol: Funny thing - he still has not moved the nanners there. What is up with that? They are nearby - a couple of times the ole ears perked up when someone ventured too close to the stash. :roll: shesshhh! We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King, kneading too! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used (YES!!), and well yes, Elsa still is after his fuds.... still running interception at auto feeder time. Elsa raids Mannie, Mannie raids Elsa as always , everyday.... All kitties are now napping... Elsa and Bj in their beds... Mannie under the Christmas tree, with one eye on the nanner stash... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am off shortly, I hope, for an early morning walk to the shore, and then to wrap presents! I'm almost done with holiday prep.... I can't believe that it is a week away. Mannie, Yes on the bakeries ( there are a lot of them there!) I dunno on sun, I keep looking but it is dark out there. It should be nice though, so yes on the dunes. -- Tess

Morning Michelle, I missed all the green excitement last night! Way to go Mannie! Let's see some more, but slow slide Mannie. I hope he gives permission for the walk today, Michelle. I think Mannie is hinting at more nanners for Christmas, one pile under the tree and the other in its usual place maybe! :lol: Enjoy your walk today.

What an incredible day Mannie had yesterday! Green, finally!! :mrgreen: Mannie, now show us those nice numbers again today please.

Maybe Mannie does not want his nanners too close to the tree because he is afraid you might get the idea that the nanners might look beautiful hanging on the tree as decorations. I also like Ann's idea that he is hinting at gettting more nanners for Christmas.

I hear ya on the weigh in, i weighed Leo last night for the first time in a long time............18.5 lbs :shock: :shock: :shock: Gulp! Someone needs to go on a diet.

OK, we have a great sunny day, it finally came up! I got maps of Solvang, so we don't get lost. It is going to be busy, so watch your tails and paws! Everyone wants to go there at Christmas! Hey Celi - I hear ya on the birthdays that are so close to Christmas. DD and DSIL plan on celebrating his half birthday when he gets older, for that exact reason. The birthday thing on Christmas kinda get lost. well this year we will set aside part of the day that will be strictly birthday. i mean.... one has to have the photo of the one year old face plant in the cake. :lol: :lol: Love the photo btw - that would be Mannie. :lol: :lol:

Nice green cycle last night, but the bounce can take a hike!! Champ is bouncing from last night, too, though he's not bouncing as hard as he used to, thank goodness!! I'll bet Mannie's PMPS is lower, though.

Odd about the nanners...can't believe Mannie is sleeping without them!! Maybe he's got a plan formulating!!

Yay on the greens! What is up with the nanners though? He is working hard trying to keep his spot and watching over them. I can't believe Christmas is a week away. Yay on Nicholas being a Christmas baby. I bet you will all have the best birthday party ever for him. My mom is a twin and they are Christmas Eve babies. It always makes for an exciting time.

Hi Patty - so agreed! no bounce required! It seems that Mannie's liver disagreed. :roll: I remember the days too when Mannie didn't bounce as hard - i hope we get them back, though this us a low pink, it could have, and has been, worse. :roll: :? :-D and so true on the nanners! He does tend to them, but has not moved them when he is under the tree. I secretly suspect that he's hoping Santa Claws will bring him new ones.... :razz:

Hi Celi - I KNOW!! me too! It will be so interesting to see how Nicholas handles having a cake put in front of him, one on one... :lol: :lol: Of course I will be there camera in hand!

Hi Melissa - yeah, the nanners thing is interesting. he's not far away when he is under the tree, and I suspect that while we are not looking he is back on the pile. They have been rearranged as only he would do. Perhaps he is thinking - "if I wait here I'll be the first one to get what ever santa leaves, and I know it is nanners - what else could it be?" last year was a hoot - each of the kitties got one - he went and gathered them all up and put them on his pile. :lol: :lol: :lol: the others were not amused... :evil: -- and yes on DGS being a Christmas baby - it is all so fun. i hope so on the party - it will be separate from the Christmas stuff. very cool on your mom. My dad was a Christmas eve baby too.
