Shes on a high streak at the moment. I wonder if this is really a bounce or if she needs an increase again. Shes been on this dose for a week and the range between low and high is massive! Lows: 79 (5 days ago), 100 (2 days ago) and High: 516!!! (last night) All day yesterday was super high. I guess it was the bounce from the 100 although that doesnt seem to be a really low number. She did have that drop from 301 to 128 in 4 hours a couple days ago which I understand can also cause a bounce and those can be higher bounces. So I guess thats whats happening now. Just trying to make sense of all this. Whats been happening the last 4 weeks is nothing like anything shes experienced in the 2 years shes been diabetic.
I wish I knew how to make her feel better. She seems so down. Shes eating, but is really sluggish. 😢

Just watch how she goes into PMPS, if this is a bounce break cycle, you want to avoid increasing at the same time the bounce breaks because those can have more downward movement. Just ends up making for more excitement than you bargain for.

?? Im not sure how to tell when the bounce breaks. At +8 it had gone back up again.

Oh sorry, I should have explained. She went up into reds and blacks yesterday after seeing blues the day before, then started coming down into pinks today. Had she continued into yellow or blue later in today’s cycle, that could be a bounce break. Looks like she isn’t doing that, so I’d consider the increase for tonight, or you can wait until tomorrow if you prefer to monitor on the dose increase cycle.

@Christie & Maverick Ive made a big mistake. Somewhere in all this craziness I mislabled the dosing or switched it at some point, Im not really sure. When I went to pull up 0.5 for the evening dose I realized that thats the dose id been giving (for how many doses Im not sure). I think with all the reductions, I messed up somewhere. Anyway the step up from 0.5 is 0.75 so thats what I gave. I dont know how its affected everything. I dont know if I ever gave 0.25 dose, or if I started giving it and switched to 0.5 at some point by mistake. I feel like a complete idiot!!!
So things start all over now with a 0.75 dose and we'll see what happens. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
 
Oh it’s okay, Jo, don’t beat yourself up :bighug:, sometimes you get into autopilot and get thinking about other things at the same time. Maybe when you get a minute can you add to your current remarks where you’ve noted the dose up to 0.75u that you had possibly not been giving 0.25u from 12/11/2025 to 12/18/2025 and at some point it was likely 0.5u. Something like that.
