Good morning LL,

Today finds Jetta bouncing again off another quick trip to the green lagoon last night. Seems like there was a gathering there and Jetta's pretty worn out today from all the partying.

Interesting observation this morning- I'm starting to transition the 3 civvies on to wet food (YAY!) so every morning and night I split a can amongst them and today Jetta dove onto the counter to help eat. Normally she eats as though it's a chore, but with some friendly (or not so friendly) competition added, she turned into a little Hoover. She scarfed the food like she hadn't eaten in a month. We may be on to something here!

Have a great day all! If Jetta gives us a permission slip DH and I are using the last official day of our Vacation to do some local tourist activities so I may not be around till tonight.

Go Jetta! Don't let those civies get anything extra. :lol: :lol: We've used food competition a couple of times too. Zener and Tillie will not eat the same thing though and hardly at the same time. The wet food has been good for Tillie, especially her skin. Her feline acne is mostly gone and her skin seems generally less itchy. Enjoy your day as a tourist. What did you see?

WOW, Jetta's on a mission to leave this bounce far behind in the rearview mirror! I've left lots of food and I know she'll be fine. Experience tells me she's not going to go another 100 points. (fingers crossed!)

We're off to a large county park to rent a kayak. There's a huge lake and lots of wildlife viewing opportunities, and with temps a little cooler today (high of 75 or so), we should see a number of creatures.

nice on the greens last night - seems that here was quite a party at the green lagoon! She nay be ion the ounce, but I suspect that it will be short lied one - that +2 is very nice. A little slower on the descent Jetta, but I do love that blue.

Love the food story - it always seems to be greener on the other side - after-all, they ave to have been fed something better than what Jetta received. :lol: :lol:

Enjoy the day - I hope Jetta will give you a permission slip to go and have some fun. :-D

Wow - that is some quick bounce-clearing there, Miss Jetta!

Kitty habits are so funny. Within my herd, everyone always wants to eat everyone else's food. Back when we only had one diet amongts the crowd, I would let them play musical food dishes, even though it made no sense what-so-ever. Now, everyone has their own diet, so instead I get to sit and police mealtime. I'm glad the competition has made Jetta realize that food = YUMMY!!

Well who woulda thunk that feeding the civies wet food would make Jetta eat more?? :lol: Kitties are funny little creatures. Nice numbers for Jetta today so far and i see she hasn't lost her sky diving status!

That is a record bounce clearing! You had lots of fun at the lagoon and want to go back, Jetta?

grr_red grr_red grr_red All I can think is that maybe she got some dry food? I'm SO careful about it though, I'm nearly sure she didn't get any. But I don't know how else to explain the 428. YUCK.

The trip to the park was nice. Lots of birds and turtles and one little banded water snake going for a swim. No gators or anything else super-exciting though.

Nothing like a little competition to kick it in gear! Whatever it takes for those of us with non-food motivated kitties.

Awwww...Jetta obviously caught wind that today is the last day of vaca, and is not pleased. It's OK, Jetta...there will be other vacations. Please come down from there!!!
