Doodles was under the Christmas tree waiting for me to put the fireplace on this morning. We've had below normal temps where the mornings have been in the 30's. We're a bunch of sissy's out here in the Phoenix area.
He's very active this morning chasing his sister Moo around and ate breakfast like a champ.

With the string of beautiful preshots for Doodles these days I couldn't help but wonder "why"/"how". Marje explained L&LL land refer this to the kitty "snapping"...meaning all of a sudden they stop or minimize bounces and start showing flatter/better numbers. I look at tons of spreadsheets a day and always wondered if Doodles could ever come close to looking so "green" :D (anti-jinx). So those of you who's kitties are still on a little roller coaster...one day they will decide to get off. Doodles 12/17

As for my nerves last night with the beautiful green preshot...I must remember not to drink a redbull an hour before:joyful:

Happy Friday and may all the kitties surf safely and feel great today.

I still do the same thing and keep reading spreadsheets - but, honestly, I never thought that Mandarin would be lucky enough to get regulated so quickly (anti-jinxes). Since he had already come out of remission once, I was afraid that he would not easily "snap" out of it this time. And you can just take one look at him and he looks and acts like a different cat. He is active, playful, and has become more social than I ever thought.

...now I just need to find a good role model for my bouncy boy Walt. I keep hearing that there are cats that bounce all the way to remission, but I have yet to find a spreadsheet that really shows that.

This was a high dose kitty that went OTJ and mostly bounced until the last month or so. Julie & Punkin shared it with Kari & Mocha yesterday. Black Kitty.

Very interesting!!! I guess there is hope that his pancreas will eventually heal. Especially over the last week, Walter has really been affected by the dramatic ups and downs and it's been really hard to watch him struggle.

I do know the feeling and how sad it is. Doodles had to go all the way back up after coming down the scale before the "snap" happened. You'll see it from 10/23-12/7 on his SS. We were completely discouraged and I did a lot of hair pulling and baby crying for over a month.

Awesome surf Doodles! Funny I've never heard of a "snap". I get frustrated when Boomer's levels go up even marginally (like this morning) lol!

Understandable especially since it looks from his SS sheet he was regulated pretty quickly. This "snap" I think refers to those where it took much longer to see good numbers and stop bouncing. Some kitties never stop bouncing :(

Awesome surfing going on in this condo - a joy to watch. :D:D:D

We've also had some kitties bounce almost all the way to OTJ. ECID - they all take different paths to wherever they are going, be it remission or regulation. There's a reason the phrase "like herding cats" is so true.
