WCR not much going all yet this early with him he ate quite a bit at +6.5 when he was 144 so I guess he is not real hungry yet I know he will be soon though, and we only have purring to account for with the P's it must be too early for him this morning well can you believe it one week and it will be Christmas :shock: and no I am not ready other then ready to take my tree back down just so I do not have to worry about the kittens around it anymore it will come down soon this year I should have out it in my living room which has a door on that room oh well really did not think we were going to have the kittens out and running everywhere with the tree up like we do they are just so cute off to get some coffee be back later ~O) ~O) ~O)

Fun time for the kitties and the xmas tree. I take mine down before New Years. By that time Ive had enough ornament stealing and needle dropping. Oh and Ive caught Spike chewing the light bulbs too.

Ah yes, cats and Christmas trees. Checkers has always been fascinated with ours. The civvies couldn't care less.

Do Lou is looking good. I bet your kittens are having a blast. What a great bean providing such a fun play toy for the kitties.

So far my kitties haven't knocked off the ornaments. Paws crossed.

PS the only thing our kitties like better than a Christmas Tree is tissue paper!

Well so far one or 2 ornaments have been knocked down have had to make sure they do not drink yucky xmas water YUCK and they one of the boys has pulled some tinsel down but someone is always watching them when they are with the tree

Lookin' great this Caturday, Do Lou!!

We like to put up our Xmas tree on Christmas Eve and take it down on 12th night (Jan. 6th). But since we will not be home for Xmas, it will go up today and get decorated early in xmas week. I'll be interested to see what Rusty will do about the tree. Stu liked to sit under it and wash his feet in the tree water (and then lick them!!). He never bothered the ornaments. Rusty will probably like the ornaments (but none of ours are glass). I can just picture your kittens having so much fun with the tree.

Morning Lisa! What great numbers for Do Lou this morning - looks like he may be a busy boy. :-D

It sounds like those kittens are keeping you very busy. Only two ornaments down? not bad... and no tree climbing? even better. Mannie loves his - he sleeps under it, but never bothers the decorations.

No I am really quite shocked by the no tree climbing thats what I thought they would do but no none of them have even attempted to climb it, overall they are good but its cedar and starting to shed more already but 3 boys leave soon and Ellie is so tiny she is the same size as my other kittens so I may let her and my other litter all be one big family again if both Moms say its ok the Moms are sisters and get along great but you never know how they will be with younguns but this is my extended plan confused_cat boys gone Ellie bunk with other kids so she is not wanting her siblings we shall see how it goes its not for another week or 2 anyway weather permitting kitten delivery to TN pickup place.

+5 38 nailbite_smile nailbite_smile :shock: :o Ok I thought better test him he is dropping today a 38 so I retested and got a 33 :shock: yeah he is eating mc now as we speak which usually brings him right up I wish he would not do this so much for me maybe taking the other litter to the vet was just thinking about doing this 30 min ago yep not going anywhere now

Wow, what a drop for Do Lou. i don't think i've ever seen him do this. he is certainly responding to this dose.

Amazing that the kittens don't try to climb the tree. We have a tradition of hanging walnuts on the tree, i out most of theses low so it doesn't matter if Tess has a little fun.

I would have to go back thru his SS Ann I know he has had some drops but this big of one and this early in the cycle was unexpected his drops when he does them are usually later in the cycle
+5.5 45 up a bit and he does meow funny when he is below 50 but otherwise he acts ok

Yes cancel any plans to go out not that I really had any but was toying with the idea of trying to take litter no 1 in for their check but that would have me gone all day long almost so zippo on that unless I go in later after he is up up up

Yes exactly Roni I knew he was on his way down today but a 38 :shock: did not expect that yes he likes the attention I am thinking he can do it another way I told him :lol:
+7 157 he is snoozing away now in his heated bed and gave me the look like jeez not another pokey

My oldest son made this 2 yrs ago and as I reflect upon how hectic things are this reminds me of how crazy our xmas day always is LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvALdj3US28 this is so typical of how my xmas is every year and as much as I love xmas as you can see its a lot of running around we have breakfast at my oldest sons now, then to Bardstown Ky for lunch a hour drive and then another hour drive to my Moms for dinner so you just run from place to place :lol: :shock: one year I told DH I would like to run away and just rest all xmas and just soak in the day never had a chance to do that for a long long time

What I would love to see you do, if you're up for it, is to try shaving Do Lou's dose instead of doing a full 0.25 unit reduction. It's great that he is seeing some green on this dose, but it is too low green. Hopefully a shave would let him get more firmly established in green numbers, but slightly higher green. You would have to monitor closely in case that dose is still too much, but you usually do that anyway. What do you think?

Ok if I am shaving does this mean a skinny 4.25?? but I agree would love to see him more green

pmps 159 need to get him to wake up he is a sleep head in his heated bed right now course I do not blame him on this winter day heated bed sounds good :razz:
 
Wow, exciting day for you and Do Lou! Nice catch with the 38/33. I'm sure you were :shock: !

I hope it's a calmer night for you and that the shave is just what Do Lou needs to surfer some higher up greens.
