Well I was considering skinnying her dose and then she tosses me a 106 for AMPS so just stuck with what's been working

China's been totally bored with exercising this week so we've taken a break....hoping it doesn't cause her to gain this week when I weigh her! Still wish there was some kind of toy I could find that would re-spark her interest but she's got at least 1 of everything made!

It's been a frigid day today....the wind chill this morning was -22 and the actual temperature never went above 0!! So of course I get a phone call about noon that DM's heat is out AGAIN.....the heater in her living room keeps tripping the breaker and the landlord won't fix it for good. She can't remember how to get into the breaker box to reset it so I ended up having to go over there and do it

I think I'm going to take $50 off the rent in January for "serviced rendered".....the maintenance man said he was going to buy some bigger breakers so they wouldn't trip so easily but he hasn't done it yet....and I worry about that "quick fix"....those breakers are there for a reason!!

Hope you're all staying warm!....This weather is dangerous!!

I seriously doubt it.....she's been diabetic for almost 4 years but I'll never give up hope ....maybe someday!!

Terrible that your DM heating has gone again. That is just too bad! What is the landlord thinking. He needs to get a new one. No heater on those conditions is dangerous for sure.

Hi Chris, It sounds like your mom's building needs a real electrician to do some upgrades to the wiring. I would complain to the landlord that it is not safe to have conditions that require frequent re-setting of the circuit breakers. How old is your mom's building? You might do some research into the present-day building codes for older buildings. Then you can cite code violation when you complain--in writing--to the landlord.

That's a great idea Ella!! The building is old.....it was built as a nursing home originally but a new one was built in the 90's to replace it so it's been around for a long time. The landlord is a lawyer too....if anything might get him off his butt, it might be threat of a lawsuit
