I told her last night that if her PS this morning was higher than last night's PS night (187), a dosecrease was in order. I think she listened. Since I've eliminated the test mini meals, I'm going to see if she comes down on her own today. Again, I won't be home to monitor her, so I didn't do the dosecrease (regardless of my threat to her). I'll be home tomorrow and the rest of the week, so I may still do the dosecrease tomorrow morning.

I also eliminated 1/2 tsp. of water to her chicken snacks. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I have noticed that on occasion she doesn't finish all of the water, and she's drinking on her own, anyway. Now, she gets 7 tsps. of water to her 0.50 oz. of steamed chicken. The chicken I'll work on later this week. For now, I want her system to settle down some before I make any more changes.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175

Hi guys .. well I'm glad blackie listened to you about bringing down her amps! This is still just a wee bit high for what she's been at lately, but still nice healing numbers! Good luck with the water situation .. we add a good amount to mocha's food bowls .. but she always slurps it right up with her fuds :-D

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175

Hi Angela, good luck with the food related and numbers to see how Blackie does with her numbers. It's a little high for Blackie, but not bad. I hope she comes down today. Have a nice day.

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175

I add about 6 drops to her Evo meals, and about 7 tsps. to each of her steamed chicken meals. I've seen her go to the water bowl, too, to get more. I may add a full tsp. of water to her Evo meals, but I'm not sure if I like the consistency of sloppy fuds. I would think that she wouldn't having that full feeling if she had a lot of water to her meals. However, I think I've read somewhere to add water to their meals.

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175

Adding water to your cat's food is a good thing. It's good for kidney health. If you look on Dr. Lisa's site, one of the huge advantages of canned food is it's water content.

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175, +3 90

+3 90 - 0.90 oz. Evo 95% C&T

At least her #s are starting to look more normal. I'll give her a day or 2 to settle down a bit, and I'll remove 0.10 oz. of steamed chicken from her diet. It may or may not make her PS #s go down. All I can do is try.

Re: 12/18 Blackie 175, +3 90, +4 55

+4 55
+5 68 - 0.50 oz. steamed chicken
PMPS 166, 1.0u, 0.90 oz. Evo 95% C&T
+2 - 0.90 oz. Evo 95% C&T
+3 103 - 0.90 oz. Evo 95% C&T
+4.5 - 0.50 oz. steamed chicken

At this point, I'm going to hold off on giving her any increases in dosage. We'll see what she does this week.
