WCR: I'm not sure if she licked the floor this morning, or not. I'm guessing so.. again. Forgot to Swiffer this morning. Weight = 11.02 lbs. (goal weight is to maintain 11 lbs.; +/- 1/10 of an oz. or so). 4 P's, and received a cute action yesterday (to me, a cute action is when they lay on their backs, and have paws curled, and they move their heads from side to side.. Just looks cute to me :lol
; Tried initiating play yesterday too; thought I'd get somewhere as she did show some interest, but the interest soon left. Clean Bowl Club is always there.
WBR: Got woke up before 4 this morning due to Jr. Mint (former UTI patient) meowing his head off. So, got up, made coffee, cleaned the boxes, and set up the stitching table next to a heater. I was able to get in about 100+ stitches on the Blue Lacecap Hydrangea project this morning. However, that'll be interrupted later as I need to head to the post office to get some packages (not Christmas unfortunately) sent out.
On another note, DH received word from his corporate office last Friday that the company is bringing back cruises next year. There's a Caribbean cruise for people that have been there for 10 years, and an Alaskan cruise for people that have been there for 20+ years. DH has been working there for 20+ years now, and he's been selected to go on the Alaskan cruise. He told me that he's going, and he's not going without me. SO... I'm going too!!!
We'll be going in June (fly out of here May 31); I'm working on getting my passport for it. I have never been on a cruise before. DH went on the Caribbean one many years ago, but went with his best friend as I had major health issues at the time, and couldn't go. Although, he said he had a great time, I know it would've been better if I was able to have gone, too. Has anyone been on an Alaskan cruise before? In the meantime, I'm working on trying to get a babysitter for all of the furbabies here, including Miss Blackie. I'm a planner, and tend to plan well in advance. We haven't had a vacation in about 3 years, or more. To me, this will be like a vacation... I'm not sure what it'll be like for DH, although he has told me that this will be like a vacation, too, for him.
Ooohhh.. The joy of having to NOT cook for a week. Utter blisss!!!!!
