12/18/20 Chicamonkey AMPS 545/+3 411/+5 389/ +9 334/PMPS 477

Sounds so nice! Once I'm awake, I absolutely cannot fall asleep again.
I hope Chicamonkey comes down soon.
Have a good night.

I know it's hard not to worry about the high numbers. I do too. My best advice is to keep on top of the increases...take them when earned. Monitor BG. Test for ketones. Note how the 5 Ps are: playing, preening, pooping, peeing and purring. Because cats are more than just their numbers.

Just had a look at Chicamonkey's spreadsheet. Are you working long shifts overnight...is that the reason you're not testing recently at night? A lot of cats go lower at night.

She gets insulin at 5 A and 5 P. I go to bed at 9 because I get up at 4 ..... I can’t stay up

I’m going to try to get a +6 at 11 pm tonight.... if I can stay awake
Not all cats nadir at +6. It can be as early as +3 or +4. You can get tests at different hours each night/day and it will help you fill in the pieces of the spreadsheet puzzle!

Typically a flat or lower +2 means kitty will go lower later in the cycle. If the +2 is higher, then she is bouncing. If a +2 or +3 is significantly lower than PS, then you know that another test is needed later in the cycle.

Thank you, all numbers are in now, I forgot to add my evening check to the Ss.
She’s doing all of the 5 p’s and ketone strips are negative
