Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes.....and a little better on that AMBG - at least it is truly in the normal range today. My current food test will be giving her Wellness and Shebay only, eliminating the Fancy Feast and Purina One for now. I really hate having too many options and juggling flavors with her....consistency works best with keeping her on track. But, I am going to check out the Dave's that @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) recommended, too, but the roads and weather are nasty today so I don't think I'll be going anywhere until tomorrow.
I don't know for sure, though, if the food is really the issue...she does always tend to jump up a bit during the colder months, even when she was on insulin...but in the past OTJ years, she hasn't crept up quite this much. MamaBean is nervous, that's for sure.
The one thing I forgot about Wellness is that it is "fancy" and has cranberries, blueberries, etc in it. I think that's OK for Trix, but my civvie triplets really have no tolerance for "extras" (and these days it is REALLY hard to find food that doesn't have fruit in it). They don't eat a lot of wet (VERY long story on their food issues), but they do nibble on it. Zen has taken quite a liking to the Wellness...which would be great if it weren't for the fruit. I don't know who did it, and maybe it's a coincidence....but someone pooped outside the box last night. The only other time we had that problem is when FortiFlora changed their formula and the new version didn't agree with Noah. I wonder if it's the Wellness and Zen...I need a camera in the LB room. I would be surprised if it was Trix....but, one never knows.
So one more thing to worry about...who pooped outside the box, and how to keep Zen from eating the Wellness....I already spend a ridiculous amount of time playing Food Police, what's one more factor, right
