Good morning. Just wanted to let you know that I am delaying testing because I shot so late last night.This is currently +10 and I will be around so I can wait at least another hour. Will you be around/ What time works for you?

Up to .6? She is not eating much, but is eating some.
 
Thanks, Robin. I will do .6. Can't say it's a good day, tho. She has been lying down next to her food and water---which always makes me feel she is sufferiing.
 
+6 228. Looks like I will be going out tonight and not back till9 or 10--which is +12 or +13. So that works out ok. Probably closer to +13, but not sure.
 
Do you think she's really not feeling well or just being a lump? Most of my guys spend the better day being lumps.
 
Glad to say she is not meatloafing. But this is very unusual behavior. I have the impression that she wants to drink and cannot. And also that she is having difficulty eating. It is not warmer by her bowls. I have them both upstairs and downstairs, and she has done it in both places. This behavior sounds like stuff that is described on Tanya's renal site as related to stomach acid. I asked the vet about giving pepcid, and he said I could try to give 1/8 tablet (!!!?==maybe with a pill splitter?). I will try putting it in her food, but am not too hopeful about getting her to take it. I keep trying new foods, and she eats just enough to keep me trying. Now I have some of the Merrick ones (that she would not eat in past years, but they are very liquid=y).
 
On the pepcid (famotidine) it matters which pill you get - original strength or extra strength. You want the original strength which is 10mg. You can feed probably 1/4 - 1/2 pill of that at a time [I forget how many times per day - I think twice??]. It's important you look up how much to give a cat - it's usually done is "migs per kigs" or milligrams per kilogram of weight.
 
No evil movies! I'm watching "Wild Hogs". It's pretty funny so far. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't ride a motorcycle.

I would recommend "Eat, Pray Love" excellent chick flick or "It's complicated" another chick flick or my favorite movie of all time "The Goonies", runners up The Wizzard of Oz, Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus, Mama Mia, Hanging up, Avatar, The Bucket List, Vacation, Evening, Eve's Bayou, The Green Mile, Independence Day, Jumanji, The Little Rascals, Marley & Me (need tissues), Men in Black (all of them), Miracle, The Stand, & White Oleander (the book).

Evil movies, Seven, Along came a Spider, Angel Heart (very very dark). No Saw movies.

Ok, now you all know where my life has been the last few years.
