Morning All and happy Friday! here is the countdown....again....8 more sleeps til Christmas!!

WCR: he was hiding yesterday and really not himself. will keep an eye on him. managed to get a +10 instead of a +9 so he was then 111.6.....he ate somewhere up til +10....no idea when he ate really....i'm not with it today so far....
breffis at amps not fully finished :sad: ...and then i might have given a fur shot....he moved :YMSIGH: ....but then he was scratching near the area where the shot might have been given....so hard to tell....will report later....

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday and i will visit condos in a lil bit! :-D

Rocket is looking good this morning. Sorry to see that he is feeling a little under the weather. Hopefully it's a quickly passing thing (hairball or in need of a magical poo) and hopefully it wasn't a fur shot!

Oh, thanks for the video/song! However, can we just wait until next Thursday for the snow? Nothing like a white Christmas!! :lol:

I hope Rocket gets back to his normal self today. His AMPS is good, so that's a good sign. Thanks for the reminder of Christmases past!

Thanks for the memories Claudie! Happy Friday...and hoping that it wasn't a fur shot. Oh well. That happens to us all....but we will wait and see....maybe it wasn't one.

Hey I just realized, you're in Calgary! My sister-in-law & DH live there (did I mention that before? I might have, and forgotten...!! S.E. Calgary...)
We've visited Calgary during February once (forget which year!!) but it was a balmy -12C or so at the time (practically a heat wave!!! LOL) so we kind of dodged a bullet there...!! Our last visit was September 2009, for their son's wedding...
I don't know how you guys do it, I'm not at all sure that I could deal with your winters...!!

fed at +1 and he ate it all up....
gave fluids at +1.75 he didn't want much of his chicken dust which he always devours :sad:

hey Rusty... here i am reporting the weather: currently 8F light snow but feels like -6F.....high today 12F...not sure what it will be with the windchill....i guess i'm not going outside today...brrrr but when it's sunny i love sitting by the window in the bedroom and i can see people outside complaining it's cold...but i'm nice and cozy inside!!!

we get the warm spells call Chinook winds so it gives us a break from the bitterly cold winters....we got spoiled last week...with the chinooks....but that changed as of yesterday....hence the video earlier this morning...very weather appropriate i must say....

Perry....btw.....i'm SW Calgary ;-)

he hid most of the day under his tent....will keep an eye on him...fed him and ate well through out the day though....hmmmmm :sad:

don't like seeing him like that...very tired and hiding....all P's in place...so maybe he is just tired??? :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

I hope Rocket feels all better and back to hisself again, real soon, in a little bit, by morning. It's probably just a tiny thing that will pass quickly. Very nice numbers there, Rocket. I know you're concerned Claudia, so HUGS to you.

fed him at +2....now +3 64.8
he seems ok....hard to say....
he was doing that before company arrived though....they came Tuesday night and he started this going under the bed on Monday...i'm pretty sure...i think i even mentioned it that i had a hard time getting him out from there and was suggested i get the vaccum out ;-) now each and every time he gets the shot he goes into hiding...

does anyone experience that with their kitties? am i over analyzing this?

Claudia...FINALLY I make it to your condo before it's only 7 sleeps before Christmas :lol: :lol: LOVE the Dean Martin...wasn't he wonderful; I was young when his show was on but never missed it...what a voice.

Hope Rocket is doing better; sorry to hear he's hiding and I hope everything is ok. Maybe the change in his routine just upsets him. Don't know if you are overanalyzing or not but I'm always wary when they change their habits for no good reason. Pls keep us updated and sleep tight up there in the cold north!!

I don't think you're over analyzing. I think you're observing.

I think Rocket is getting tired of being on insulin. What was he like when he left for the Falls the last time? Did he tell you he wanted off the juice? If so, please explain he needs to work on bringing down those blue-preshots with a little more regularity.

i've been telling him that over and over :lol: :lol: he needs to co-operate! HOWEVER....tonight while dad was having a lil snack himself (cookies and crackers and cheese)....GUESS WHAT!!! Rocket managed to get some (actually he stole some from dad's plate!!! he can't jump on the table....he has bad arthritis...but dad had him on his lap when mom served dad his snack....and he grabbed stuff from the dish....
that was at +4.5.... ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

tested at +5 95.4!!!!! sneaky guy...hides all day to do this!!!! :o

hiding again inside his tent! :sad:

Sienne, it was such short time when we first came to FDMB....we stayed here only 27 days....his old SS shows how quickly it all happened....though back then it seemed like ETERNITY....now he gives me the look of almost saying "ok enough poking...last time you didn't harrass me that much nor mutilated my ears that long!" :YMSIGH:
 
ok...i'll step up and be the first to admit my age...dean martin was IMHO, one of the sexiest men ever!

rocket...don't hide, bud...worries the bean, and ya still gotta get the tests!
