It looks like the Levemir is starting to kick in for Noodle. I hold my breath with every test but he is acting and looking great. Probably stupid but I'm a nervous wreck worrying about his dental on Friday. Thanks to everyone who gave me input about the dental on my previous post and hope all sugar kitties and their beans are having a no-stress day

Ah shucks what mom isn't a nervous wreck when their baby is at the doctor's especially when they have to be put under for the procedure. All three of mine have had dentals and came through them with flying colors. Although Autumn was really loopy after hers. One thing I do when I bring home any of mine after they have been sedated for anything spays, dentals, setting of bones etc is to either crate them in a large dog crate or put them in a small empty room so they can't get themselves in trouble because they think they are more recovered than they really are. Which normally isn't a problem but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Yes, Mel, I know you're right about worrying when our babes have to go under anesthesia :? I always worried, guess I'm a worrywart, and especially now with this being my first diabetic kitty to have a procedure. Good idea, reminding me to keep Noodle confined as he gets his sea-legs back after the anesthetic. He loves to run up and down the stairs and might try it before he's ready. I'm glad all three of yours came through with flying colors  Fingers crossed that Noodle is equally resilient.

Aw sweetie he'll do fine on his dental after all he has all of us praying for him on Friday. So he isn't going to have 1 worried mom sending him all her love and strength to come through fine he has all the moms and dads here sending you both all their love and strength to get him through the dental. :-D Remember you two are family and that is just what family does, we worry and pace the floor until we get the word that all is well again.

Hi Mel,
What you wrote was so sweet and kind it brought tears to my eyes. I really do feel like you are all my family because you understand and feel the same way about your kitties as I do and that certainly can't be said about most of the world at large. So many people just don't understand and look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them Noodle is diabetic, gets insulin shots, testing, etc. It is such a comfort to me to know that you are praying for Noodle (and his worrier-bean). Thanks so much for all your help, advice and support. Hope your little one with the upset tummy is feeling better now.

Hi Nadine,
Thanks so much for the prayers for Noodle's dental. He's had such a rough year that I guess I always fear the worst. So I really appreciate the comfort and support
How is sweet Tibbs? I haven't read much on the forum today but believe I saw his update from yesterday. I hope the new vial will improve his numbers. He needs to have a "Blue Christmas" not red like he's in a Santa suit ;-)

Hugs and thanks,
Christi
