Yesterday was.... yellow day in MannieLand, with a splattering pf pink here and there. I hope that the lingering effects of the Clavamox will be leaving us soon. Yesterday he ate fairly well - only two main fuds in the arsenal. The amps +3 (His last mini meal) simply was not wanted by Mannie, and I just decided not to push it. He had the bulk of the fuds in him, so I let it go. He did eat his chicken snack at +6 with gusto. He did eat his normal fuds during the PM cycle, which was so nice to see. before when the UTI was diagnosed he had been refusing it, so I will look at this as good sign that he getting back on track. With the PM cycle the little stinker though managed to spit out his Plavix pill, like 6 times! So that was a open wide administration... he was not pleased. The PM cycle was wonderful - WOO HOO. I did steer it some, since it was a fast drop. I so hope he doesn't bounce too badly.... Think blue, think green Mannie! Lubs ya lots big guy... cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie got another mini bath yesterday... I had gone to see how he did in the LB, only to find him in the middle of doing his business. I guess I startled him, as he jump out stepping in the pile of urine in the process. well being clay litter it stock to his back paw, like all over... . UGH, and what a mess! I so need to change litter!!!! After that a bath was in order... he did as well with that as he did the other day. Nice warm water, soft towel, good to go. :-D :-D He was a kitchen prowler on occasion yesterday. It was good to see him come and ask for dinner, and snacks. What a relief that was! :cool: :cool: We are in the midst of another storm, lots of rains, and even some potential snow. Odd to think that ti is even cold enough to do that, but it is... Having said that, and having informed Mannie of pending conditions, it was a give that yesterday was a snuggle in the bed, or on top of the nanners day... and sure 'nuf! That is exactly what he did. After spending several minutes rearranging the nanner pile. Guess it wasn't lumpy enough. :lol: :lol: his morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club: barely (what a relief, and phew!), purrs and lots of cuddles. With encouragement, normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure what will be here today. Like yesterday I think I shall just let the day evolve.... but I do NEED to get my holiday packages in the mail! :shock: :shock:

We can in he treehouse, Or my bean said we could in her kitchen, or we could made a road trip and visit the cookie shops on the way. I am so cool with any of them - what do you guys think? Nice to see Mannie in yellow this morning. And that was a nice streak of blue yesterday evening. Blue Mannie Group has to tune up for the holiday performances! Mannie Barista, the Ethiopian coffees are my favorites. Thank you so much for the triple espresso.

Michelle, I hope that the storms don't interfere too much with getting out for a walk or a shore hike. We have stormy weather with wind-driven freezing rain here today, too, and no relief in sight. No snow. The ski areas are getting desperate with the holidays so near. This global warming is really serious.

Well, enjoy your stormy day. Mannie and Elsa will stay cosy and dry indoors and you may or may not venture out. Whatever you do, have a great day.

Morning Michelle, and nice pm cycle for Mannie. It does look like his appy is returning and nice sunny yellow AMPS today. Oh how funny with the hind end bath. Mags got one this morning, too, only some was already crusted and hard to remove. I also really love "World's Best Cat Litter"! If you order food from wag.com, you can purchase there or PetsMart always has it on sale. We have rain showers today, too, and a bigger storm tomorrow. I don't think I'll get a walk in today, as so many wet leaves on the sidewalks where I tread.

Mannie, baking cookies in the Treehouse sounds like fun. I have a really good peanut butter and chocolate cookie recipe. Visiting cookie shops sounds like the next stop, too, See ya at my spot, Mags

Last night was so nice good to see! I am glad that he is only yellow today, I so feared a nasty bounce. I hope he can hold this, head down some today. Paws crossed. I so agree on the Blue Mannie group - they need practice time! :lol: And so I told him. Paws crossed there too. oh wow on your ski areas - not good. The snow here in the mountains is good for us - so much has been falling up there over the past few days, much more to come in the next few. THX on today - i hope to get out - maybe this afternoon. :-D THX too on the litter info. Time to make a chnage her I think.

It is the same here - wet soggy everything on the ground... and cold! we are close to those rains becoming snows.... :shock:

Kewl. I don't eat cookies but my former roomie, LUVED cookies! Especially ginger snaps. Maybe we can make some in memory of Sydney. She was great, but got very fragile in the end.

And I know just what job I can and will do! I will supervise! I'm great at that. I always supervise workers when they come to the house. I can supervise all the kittehs in the kitchen! And don't think you can't pull one over on me, just cause I can't see with my eyes, doesn't mean I don't know what's going on! No tricks or into the penalty box with you.

Oooh sorry you had to have another bath! Did you get your bean to use the fur dryer. It's so yummy and warm and don't worry about the noise, it can't hurt you.

Sometimes, I go into the bathroom when my bean is there, just so she will use it on me, even though I'm nice and dry. I so love a good brushing and fur drying.

Do you think you can join the blue mannie group today? I'd sure like to hear it if you do. Think about about it and come pick me up so I can start supervising. And I've got the nip for the special brownies! tee hee

Morning guys! Woo hoo for the blue last night that is awesome and not bad numbers this morning, very awesome! Hoping the ab is clearing out! Poor Mannie having to get another bath lol, boy this guy has been through the ringer huh? He also said no more pills mom I don't like them lol. Pilling a cat is so fun, lol! Hope you have a good day despite the weather!

Mannie is getting back to normal, hooray!!! Let's hope this is it for the bounce! Thanks for the espresso this morning Mannie, even being one of the latest on the list it was piping hot and wonderful.

Mannie! We can use the bean's kitchen! Cool! There is lots more room in there! I think we need to make this a road trip WEEK and bake cookie at everyone's hose so they all smell wonderful! -- Tess

Hi Tracy - Yupp he is better, all done now with AB's, which is a huge relief. I hope so too. YUPP: nutsville on the weather... heavy rains this AM, now we have a partially sunny sky, with more yuck on the way by tonight. Well - which do I prefer.... For driving and getting around here: rain. if only because no one here knows ow to drive in it,we get so little of it. It is huge mess on the roads when it snows - 99% inexperienced drivers.... Now if I don't ave anywhere to go,and just have fun, get out on hikes etc: snow for sure.

Mannie, come on down. Nothing up on that floor - Neko explored it all this morning and it's pretty boring up there. The cookies are down a couple of levels.

Oh my on the bum bath. Good thing he doesn't have much tail to get in the way. I can't imagine bathing Neko. The most I've ever done is some moist face cloths and I don't want to repeat that anytime soon. Good luck on the litter search. Neko highly recommends the Worlds Best too - she thinks it tastes best when fresh. I've seen a couple of other cats snack on it too.

I noticed you are now adding Pet Dophilus to Mannie's meals. I hope it works soon for him. Where did you buy it? I am almost out of the one I got at Fort Collins and might need to do some cross border shopping for more.

We got some sunshine at the end of day. I hope you did too.

Hi Wendy - And so I told him... I so hate that color.... We saw enough of it last week. :roll: I told him the cookies were on the blue floor. :lol: We survived the bum bath - he has resigned to the fact I will do it, so he doesn't really fight me. I so agree on the tail - it is not too hard since he has no tail! :lol: :cool: THX too on the litter I will look for it.. dang - I wonder if he'd eat it too... :lol: :lol: and yes I did add the Pet Dophilus. I hope it helps him keep tings healthy "down there" . I bought it through Amazon. I had to get some things there, they had it, so figured might as well buy it through them. Would Amazon work for you? and yes on the sun - showed up about 2PM. We are now back to clouds, with possible snow showers tonight. oh hooray on that.
