Nice greens yesterday AM. Maggie started pacing around noon, which usually means she needs to poo. She kept pacing on and off until finally at 5pm she was able to. PMPS and +2 were a little high. Maybe the stress of not being able to go pushed the BG up some. She's not constipated. I give Miralax regularly, but it just seems like every time she needs to go, she can't right away, then suddenly she can, so hopefully I got her to the box. Enough poo talk so early in the AM...

I stopped the prednisolone. Her coughing has increased some, so we'll see if I can continue to not use it.

PMPS=120 She was pacing around and running into things for at least an hour before PMPS because she wanted to be fed. I couldn't get her to calm down and snooze until it was time.

You can give her little snack at +9 and even +10, very little bites just to let them calm.

It's not so bad, if you know she does these things on occasion, and it increases her bg for a short amount of time, it's not quite the same as the insulin/her pancreas not doing as it should, right? It's like non diabetic cats that have elevated bg at the vet. Very temporary and perfectly okay. I know it's a blight on the SS to see that blue, though, but I don't see it. You should note it in your SS when you think the higher number is caused by bumping in to things or being agitated so you can keep track of those vs no particular reason higher numbers.

No, I don't think so. I put the reason in the SS, but I see it magically disappeared , so I put it in again. Thanks for the encouragement!

Is the 120 going to mean you can't do an OTJ trial yet? Oh Maggie, dear, please dance with the greens consistently for a little while!

She dropped below 50 for many times and she usually dropped the high morning BG after just few hours, i think just little more and she will be ready

No, I don't think so given the circumstances that she was semi-frantic to eat and bouncing off furniture. But I'll go with whatever the experienced members think at the end of the week.
