All is well in CurryLand.

I need an alarm clock for Curry to wake her up so she will eat out of the feeder. If she is awake....she'll go right to it.....if asleep....she couldn't be bothered...the sound of the feeder can waken her, but not enough.....Maybe I can try calling her and leaving a voicemessage in the afternoon....saying her name and asking if she wants a treat....just before the feeder goes off in the afternoon.......or I could tape record the Catnip Video w/the bird sounds and play it for her when I call......Y'all think I'm joking....Not. :mrgreen:

My civvie...Sid...is still working on the transition to canned. We did it for awhile...she reverted back to kibble....and just recently has started wanting the canned again....and turning her nose up at the kibble.....maybe she's finally getting use to the smell of canned since I have it out for Curry.

that alarm thing might be a good idea. My Tray is the same, if he's asleep he won't wake to eat, I have to poke and prod him at night. And the idea of the feeder was so I could sleep thru the night! :roll: Oh well, let me know if the voice message thing works. :lol:

Good to hear Sid is on her way to eating canned. Good luck with that

Good morning guys! What a nice amps for curry today! I guess we are lucky in the fact that mocha would wake out of a sleeping dead state when her feeder went off :lol: Have a great day guys!

Perhaps those automat manufacturers could be persuaded to put an "alarm" sound into their mechanism. Or, if you have the kind that pops open, perhaps attach a little bell to the lid? I don't really have this problem. I simply leave the food out in the automat and leave the lids open. Rusty eats if he is hungry and apparently he has always free fed, so I don't want to change that unless necessary. I serve all Rusty's food in the automat (little dishes put into the trays) to accustom him to it in case I have to use the timers in the future.

Good girl, Curry, staying green on a drop less.

We have a fan running near our heat source right now and the kitties tend to nap close by, so I don't think KB always hears the snacker when it goes off. Most of the time he sleeps near the feeder just in case, then hunkers down for a serious nap where it's warmer, so I hope he's not missing any of his snacks.

Another awesome day in Curryland! Can I put Mannie's name in the subject line and pretend for an hour or so? great numbers as always - what a great job you are doing with Curry. :-D

I love the alarm idea, messaging system. :-D :-D Mannie will sleep through his too... alot of times it takes my telling him he needs to use the feeder, even if he's heard it open. Cats (!!), and what we do for them.

I serve all of Do Lous meals in the automat trays this was how I finally got him used to the automat (2 petmate one) bought the 5 compartment one but he is afraid of it need to put it on ebay or supply closet now that I think about it tonight anyway good numbers for Curry and good news on the transition for your other cat to canned I have way too many here to even attempt doing all canned but I think if I had just a few I would

VERY sweet numbers on her reduction. Cool that Sid is eating canned...good news all around. Hey remember that song "Lovin You" by Mimi Pimperton or pimpernickel or whatever? Anyway...it had birds singing in the beginning of it...maybe you just need that to play for Curry. Cold there? Mom says its freezin' in DFW.

it was however...better than "You light up my life"
