12/17 Buddy AMPS 100 +3.3 49 +6 94 +11 122 PMPS 120 Reducie earned!

Yep, I would have offered a little bit of MC at that 49 and checked again in 30 minutes - I try to hold Luci back as long as I can from reductions. She has a tendency not to hold them - although I have to admit she's been doing better on Levimer than she did on Lantus at holding reductions ...

I hope this reducie holds. Good job on catching those falling numbers today :)

That was my first reaction, to get him up! but if it was a 50 or 54 I would only have given him LC as usual. I just figured I would watch him close and if he went lower I would pull out the big guns.

But I do understand that this is also very early in his cycle and he Could have dropped a lot farther. Mostly I just wanted the info. :)
 
Buddy wins......:):D..... I don't want Yoyo going that low so I gave 20% gravy @+2 & +3. I have been pretty much successful in stopping the bouncing this way too. But like you have said earlier, I am probably stopping any reductions that he may be earning:rolleyes:...

Well, this was not a race I was actually looking to win haha! Really didn't expect that to happen Of course the last time it happened I wasn't expecting it either. I did suspect something was up though over the last day or so. :)

This was interesting to see how they each reacted differently. But as we know, we probably can never duplicate the same results again with the same AMPS's.
I hope Buddy is surfing safely:D
 
Back up to 65 at +5 Fed some LC to help him surf a bit. While today wasn't totally on purpose I did want to see what would happen and how he reacted to what I fed him, Now I have more information for when/if this happens again, and there will be no need to "play" with his numbers. I really didn't want a reduction so soon but if it don't stick we can always go back up. Nothing has changed in the way I have been feeding him and I am sure his depot is stable from the last reduction so maybe, just maybe he truly earned this. We will see!
 
Seems like you're going to have to be on top of him with the MC/HC. I think he's trying for a repeat performance of the other day. That 20% sure wore off quickly. NVM...the 20% hadn't kicked in yet.
