Is this the bounce-breaking cycle I have been looking for? We shall see. Bama continues to eat well, gets up from his bed to be tested and to eat. I'm waiting to hear from his doctor as to whether she will prescribe Ondansetron in an injectable form that I can give through his sub-q. I am still applying Ondansetron transdermal once daily to his ear but giving no other meds. I am sprinkling B12 powder into his food once or twice daily along with a probiotic. He had a nice poop overnight. I've resumed adding psyllium husk powder to his pumpkin and giving it twice daily. I'll reserve the Miralax for occasional use if the psyllium needs some assistance. Bama really likes having me syringe a few mls of water into the front of his mouth and I don't want to ruin that by trying to slip in the phosphorus binder. He looks so sweet and content lapping down that water.
 
Glad to hear he is eating well. On the dosing front, I would increase if he doesn't see green this AM.

When you have the time and energy, could you update his latest labs in the SS?

Is that something where I can issue a few commands and the info pulls into the cells or is it a labor intensive copy and paste? I appreciate any pointers you have. Thanks!

Bama acted like he was not going to eat his snack @ +5 so I dosed him with a 2.5mg famotidine and he soon ate his snack. He is eating well tonight. I've increased his insulin to 4.75u. Vet finally called or had her tech call and relayed the message that injectable Ondansetron could not be used in the sub-q fluids. She did authorize more sub-qs so I'll be picking up another bag tomorrow. Bama has gotten antsy a couple times during his sub-q sessions and I had to let him up. His tail was flopping around, about to get tangled in the line and dislodge the needle so I did not get the full 100 mls in. But the way I see it, some is better than none. I do think the fluids are helping.
