Yesterday. Caber Yr 2. Day 73

Not a good day here. Ollie threw up 4 times last night. Not eating yet this morning. She needs to poop. This I can handle.

PJ is not using her left front foot at all. Her left back foot is the 1/2 leg. I really want to get her to urgent care and get it xrayed. We have freezing rain since last night. I will not make it up and over the mountain. This I can not handle well. She can not walk at all. She tries but it will injure the foot more. Need to get her in the playpen in a quiet area to keep her quiet while in there. That's the hard part cuz she's a runner if you move to fast or in her direction.

I am very sorry about PJ's paw. I am frustrated for you because of the bad weather that your are having. I hope you can make PJ comfortable until you can get to the vet.
I also hope that Ollie feels better.
Sending prayers for all of you.
Be safe:bighug:

Oh my...we're used to the 'injured foot/paw' routine around here...I hope PJ settles down for you so she can stay off that injured foot for a while.

Ollie...what's going on with the pukies? I hope that settles down too...Luci puked up one of her snacks this morning on my freshly washed rug....why do they always want to puke on the cleanest stuff? Why not when it's dirty? Or a hard surface? Nooooo...gotta puke it up on this nice clean rug...

Oh well..

Hope tomorrow is a better day Paula!

Oh Paula! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Sending Ollie some poop vines and tummy-settling vines!
Poor PJ! Any idea what happened? I hope the weather settles down so that you can get her to the vet. Sending more vines!

Poor Ollie, I hope she's feeling better by now.
And poor PJ too. I'm sorry you couldn't get our today. Any changes with PJ's paw?
Sending a bunch of healing vines for both sweet kitties. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Ollie is eating. Took PMPS in both ears as the first test was 89.

PJ is still not using foot and pretty much hiding under bed. I tried the playpen, but mistake, she freaked and thrashed about. Hope it didn't make it worse. I called urgent care and will take her in tomorrow morning. Not sure how we are going to get her. Hubby says just let her be she is doing what she needs to do, rest.

I don't like the fact that she keeps it bent. If it's broke I don't want it to heal bent.

Didn't notice the limp until Monday night. Normally PJ bolts if you try to pick her up, trim nails takes two of us. Monday afternoon she let me do it without a fuss and I remember telling husband how strange that was. Today I remembered how on Sunday she got spooked by something in the kitchen and went running through kitchen, hitting the tiny table the water bowl sits on, knocking bowl which is heavy ceramic on the floor and the table over. I'm thinking that's how she hurt it.

Vines for poor PJ, with leftovers for Olive in case she still could use a few. Easily spooked kitties are so tricky--it can feel like you're picking on them when you attend to them but neglecting them if you don't.
