Good morning,

My little monster is being a pain in the butt. First she wakes me up at 2:30am (+8.5), now she won't eat much and she's being a brat about it. I'm a little nervous because I need to take my car to the dealership today so it can be serviced before I drive to my parent's home next week. I'm worried that her appy will continue to be blah and she will drop too low and ill be stuck at the dealership. I can't remember if they have a courtesy driver that basically acts like a taxi driver and if there is one, will he take me home?!?! hmmmm. I'm going to go back to bed for an hour and then check her BG and decide from there.

She's doing her business in the LB right now and was doing a little preening. I never got a chance to call and make an appointment for her with the vet. I'm not sure they'll have anything open this week, but I'll try to call first thing tomorrow morning. Ok, btb time. I'll be back.

Hope you enjoy your btb. Sorry Shasta is being bratty this morning. Usually the dealerships have a courtesy shuttle to take you home. You could call first and find out. Nice amps this morning. Hope you have a nice Sunday!

Shasta's showing you a very lovely AMPS this morning, although the lack of appy would concern me a bit, too. I hope that her appy comes back very soon. Enjoy your btb time. I wish I could do that. :lol: Have a great day!

So sorry to be so MIA this week, i just have no clue where all my time goes... I hope you have been well. Shasta looks great this morning. I will hope for a nice steady blue surf for you today. And that she will eat for you. That so sounds like me the past week: eat, please eat.... maybe a little higher carb when you leave, just to be sure? if she will eat it that is... Be good Shasta.

Good morning, Michelle. I'm at the dealership now and I don't see anyone at the courtesy desk, so I'm thinking they don't have anyone on Sundays. Not a huge deal....I think. I left Shasta bookoodles of 12%, so if anything, she should be high when I get home. We'll see. Hope you and Scrabble have a nice, lazy Sunday!

Hi Melissa, she is SUCH a sassy girl...most of the time! Hoping they don't find anything with my car. Should just be an oil change and tire rotation...but ya just never know. One thing that always makes me feel good about coming here...the guy in charge is the father of a former student...so I feel like he would never take advantage of me because I taught his daughter for 5 years!!! (4 years at the high school and 1 at the middle school) hope you and Tarragon have a nice day with pretty numbers!

Hi Angela, her appy picks up when I give her 12% FF Elegant Medley. If her appy didn't pick up with that stuff, then I would be extra worried...probably have to break out the Friskies! :lol: I don't always get to go back to bed, but I try to on the weekends to help make up for the lack of sleep during the week...need to stay one step ahead of my students! :-D Hope you and the kitties have a great day!

Hi Marje, sorry I missed your post last night. I'm not sure I ever truly mean to be funny....I just think I lucked out and have a funny cat who does silly things, whether she knows it or not! This tragedy in CT saddens me deeply. Since Columbine (I was finishing my undergrad), I have constantly thought about what would I do...what could I do...where/how would I hide my students. I have run through so many scenarios in my head, that almost scares me most...thinking of the 'what ifs'. I love my job and I can't see myself doing anything different in life...I just wish society could get itself back on track. I can finally say (after 14 years of teaching), these students aren't the same "type" of student I taught 14, 13, , 12 years ago. There's a serious breakdown somewhere in society and it's getting scarier and scarier! Hope you, Mike and the kitties have a great Sunday. Blessings.

Morning Deborah and good luck with your car repairs. I'm thinking they will have a courtesy van for you, or someone can give you a ride home. I think Shasta's hanging around Mags with those crazy wake up calls. I get a couple thru the night. Shasta was quite eager to eat her 12% FFEMF, so I'm feeling better about not being home with her right now. I'm chillin' at the dealership, enjoying their free wifi and hanging out on FDMB! As for being absent last week...I feel your pain. 'Tis the season...to be stressed and frazzled! Hope you guys have a lovely day!

Hi Ann, I'm enjoying a little time at the dealership on their wifi. I think that since it is Sunday, they don't offer a courtesy shuttle. No big deal (I think) because Shasta was enjoying lots of 12% FFEMF when I left. Besides, now I can type and not worry about upsetting a cat on my lap! :-D Shasta and Maggie need to stop w/ the night time wake-up calls. Totally uncalled for!!! However, it reminds me that I need to play with her more before bedtime...see if I can wear her down a little so that she doesn't wake me up. We shall see! Hope you guys have a fantastic day!

Hi Deborah,
I hope Shasta is doing a nice little surf and munching away for you while you are waiting at the dealership. Hopefully, they'll get your tires rotated, oil changed and get you back home quickly. It's sure nice to know someone where you take your car. I always think they look after you a little more carefully.

Hi Mary,

Shasta's been doing a nice little surfing dance all day long! Just spent a little time chillin' in my lap and is now checking out what's going on outside...from the safety of the window! Car got an A+ on its inspection; tires rotated, oil changed and got a complimentary car wash! Now I need to get to some laundry and finish my crafts from yesterday, and possibly a quick trip to TJ MAXX! :smile: Hope you're having a good day!
