Bounce. It looks like he had a few good cycles in a row at least.

J.D. only nibbled at his 1st Breffis and went back to bed, so I put his bowl on the bed (my bed) and he's eating it.
Today is J.D. goes to work with me day.

Re: 12/16 J.D. AMPS 401

Hope J.D. Eats his foods... on your bed, LOL he isn't spoiled ;-) Actually, I do the same with Smokey. She never eats a whole lot at one time, so I am happy to feed her wherever she will eat.

You are so lucky that you can take J.D. To work with you. If I could have, I would have brought Zeus the other day when he was still dropping in the morning. I hope you can get a lot done today and J.D. Clears that bounce quickly.

Have a great day, hugs,
Kathie

Morning Dyana,
You and J.D. have fun at TBP today. J.D., you'll clear that bounce fast for your mamabean, right?
Does J.D. have a little "go to work" bowtie to wear today?
Have a great day you two

Re: 12/16 J.D. AMPS 401

Morning guys, I do the same thing with Scrabble, I bring the rest of the food to him and he will always eat it. He knows I will bring him the rest of his food, it is funny he will sit and wait in his cat bed for it. Have fun taking JD to tbp today. Hope his numbers come down. Have a great Sunday!

Re: 12/16 J.D. AMPS 401

Oh breffis in bed. Yum! Come down please JD. It's so great that he gets to go to work with you. That at least eases some of your anxiety. Have a great day Dyana!

Re: 12/16 J.D. AMPS 401, +3.5 378, +6.5 129

Not too bad of a come back for J.D. especially from being at work. Especially after his 1st Breffis and 2nd Breffis were both 10% and his 3rd Breffis was FF Chunky Turkey which I think is 7%.

He's sleeping in front of my feet under my desk.

Re: 12/16 J.D. PMPS 138 - insulin question

I just got a shock.

I went to take out the chicken legs I had taken out of the freezer on Friday night and was planning to cook last night but it was still frozen and it was still frozen tonight. I checked the thermometer I keep in my frig and it said 32 or maybe less. I have brand new 5 pens of insulin in there :? How do I tell if there frozen?

I put the partially used insulin I took with me (in a cooler with an ice pack) to work today, in the frig when I got home from work a half hour ago. I have no idea how the refrigerator got so cold. I know the insulin I took to work today was not frozen. Should I just stick a needle in one of the new pens and see if it goes in? I guess I'll go do that... nailbite_smile

The syringe needle went in, and move around, so I guess all is okay.
I turned the tempurature down in the frig. All summer I kept increasing it because it was always in the 40s..
I guess the winter weather does a number on the frig tempurature?

I don't mean to hijack this condo with an OT question, but can someone please tell me what TBP means? I don't see it in the glossary. My husband's guess is "the bad place" I have seen this on occasion and it's driving me nutters not knowing what it means!

TBP = the bad place (i.e., work)

The only way to know if the insulin is OK is if it remains clear -- there are no floaties -- and it keeps working.
