Thanks again for all the prayers for Charlotte. My baby girl is feeling much better. Still coughing a lot and the fever comes and goes, but she's on a healing path :)

Amps 152

Garland is doing so great!!! The wound on her neck is almost completely healed up. It's only a teeny tiny scab now. Just a drastic difference than last week. Her appetite is back full force. Eating the LC without any trouble. About 3 cans a day. She's spunky and playful

Yesterday was spent all day in yellows, so I'm happy to see a nice blue this morning :)

Nice blue for Garland today. It is amazing what a difference one week and a great bean can make. Great to hear that she is spunky and healing well. Have a great day Violet!

Thanks for asking!! I added a little note on my post. You all are so wonderful for not only caring about Garland but also my little girl. She's doing much better. Getting her energy back and slowly getting better :) I just hate it when she doesn't feel well :(

Charlotte is currently playing chase with Garland. Although garland seems to be looking for a good hiding place lol

I'm in keller :) The clouds have finally broken up and I see peeks of sun fighting through !!yay !!! Although, after the summer we had, all this rain from this week was much needed lol

I'm glad to see that blue! Just an FYI, cof some cats, a flat yellow cycle can mean some action is forthcoming.

(Housekeeping note: can you update Garland's SS when you have a chance? And remember a spot check or two, please.)

Someone is updating for me. So sweet of her :) I need to send an email of numbers to her. I've gotten behind with everything going on. I think the only day I havent gotten a spot check was the day I was up at the hospital w Charlotte

Wonderful start for Garland and I have missed condos last couple of days so sorry to hear your DD was sick but so happy she is better now ((((hugs)))) from us

I'm so sorry I haven't gotten here to wish many healing vines for Charlotte with her pneumonia. I'm glad she is also feeling better. Poor baby girl!!!

I think you've earned a nursing degree!!!!

Lol i could never be In a medical field. I'm totally freaked out by needles and blood. :lol:

I have no idea what's going on with her BG. The first test was 457 :shock: . I retested and got 341. They were lower when she was eating the HC. I'm very surprised to see how high her numbers are getting today after starting blue.

Ketones are 0.7. Still technically negative, but not as "low" as I would prefer . Yesterday was 0.2
 
This is a bounce. Garland's liver is reacting to the low numbers. You don't actually know how low Garland went overnight so it's not a surprise that her liver reacted. I would, however, make sure you are getting a good amount of water into her food.

Violet -- it might be helpful if you listed out Garland's number from the previous day in your new condo, especially if whoever is helping you with your SS hasn't had a chance to update. Would that be possible?

This morning I listed all her numbers from yesterday in my first post for you guys :) SS got updated a few hours ago. I checked her BG right before I went to bed and it was 246, she doesn't usually drop a ton quickly,so I didn't think there was a need to set an alarm for a middle of the night check.Fingers crossed for lower numbers tomorrow :) :)
