Hi LL!
Eddie has been happy and cheerful all day today. I do think he feels better with his better numbers and less roller-coaster. He's been a bit more active, even to the point of being naughty! He's been engaging the other kitties in more rompa-stompa play sessions and wrestling matches. You'd think he was 2 years old, and not 9 years old and diabetic.
Eddie dipped low again last night, but I figured it was probably depot, so did not reduce further. He bounced this morning into the mid-to-high 100s but cleared immediately. He was green again by the time I was walking out the door this morning. Eddie got higher carb for his last breakfast before I left, and extra food in the auto feeder, given the massive drop down to +2.5 this morning. I dread the huge AM drops, where I'm not home to check on him again until +6. When he dives like that, he likes to dip into low numbers around +3 or +4. So, this morning, I don't know if he dropped or if he sort of just surfed in 80's and 90's during the first part of the AM cycle. Tonight, he started with a nice PMPS of 108, and had a sharp spike (or a questionable test?) at +1, but is now right back to business. So far, so good with this dose!
I do think (hope?) that the bouncing that he's still doing, which is the "warranted" kind after drops into low numbers, will stop or settle down if we can get to and stay at a dose for a while that isn't dropping him into the 30s or 40s.
Hope everyone has a good evening!
