After yesterday's kinda strange numbers (that most of you would kill for) looks like Deputy China is back to her normal self Hopefully she'll stay that way!

Been a lousy day today...dark and bleak and dreary....but at least it wasn't frigid cold like it's going to be over the weekend!

I guess there was a little freezing drizzle this morning because the Nutrition site where DM goes for lunch every day was closed....thought that was overdoing it a little! Nothing else closed!! They don't even open until 10:30 and by then it was gone

Got DM to PT and her hair appointment and went shopping so hopefully when it's really cold this weekend, we can both stay inside and stay warm!

Hope everyone is prepared for the artic blast....and don't forget....Kitty snuggles are a great way to warm up!!

I got mild frostbite getting the Christmas tree from the top of the car to the back porch (without gloves). Had to get someone to lock the car for me. Couldn't move my fingers to get the right key. Stay warm. And thanks to those in the US of A, in advance, for the Colorado low we are about to get.

Cleo's doing fine!! I'm getting pretty darn good with the pill gun (my first time using it with a capsule instead of a pill) and so far anyway, they've all gone down the hatch!! She's a lot less thrilled with the bupe though, but with the incision she's got, it has to hurt so I'm giving it to her whether she likes it or not

We already have the arctic cold, but I gather that we'll be getting the one you're expecting, too. It's good, because the ground will stay frozen and that's better for everything. After all, the Winter Solstice is on Wednesday.

China, I hope you are looking after Sheba in the lagoon today.....she has suddenly taken to the water and wants to go there every day....am just wondering if there is an attraction there for her?

that's about the only good thing I can think of with these super-cold temps.....if it stays frozen long enough, maybe flea and tick season won't be as bad next year! We never had a hard freeze last winter at all, so the bugs were really bad this year

I've been offline for a couple of days (candymaking). I missed Cleo's vetty appt. I'm glad to hear she's doing well after that. It's amazing that you've never had to give her pills before. I'm glad that's working out okay.

As for China, she is looking amazing.

Even here in Northern CA, we are getting a blast of cold air - temps in the hight 40s-50 the next couple of days, and down to high 20s or low 30s at night. That is really cold for us.
