Good morning!
AMPS 178 shooting 2.5u

Well Boomer started whimpering right after his +3 when we went to bed last night. Guess he wanted more +3. But I knew I hadn't short-changed him so he didn't get more. He did eat about half of his +6. I was awake when the feeder turned at +8.5; he was laying beside me and didn't make an effort to get up so I picked him up and deposited him at the dish (figuring that he would wait until the feeder turned to an empty dish then cry because he was hungry). He ate most of that meal.

I didn't get out for a walk yesterday; the weather was not cooperative....and DH had errands to run and with Boomer being in green early someone had to be with him. We did meet later with a designer and had a very productive hour purchasing bathroom cabinetry, shower, flooring and shower tile. Contractor is scheduled for February.

Today on the agenda: well it's supposed to be sunny this morning so I'll head back to the park to see if the Eagles feel like being photographed again. And this afternoon I hope to check out the park where the Horned Owls nest to see if I can find the adults this time; couldn't spot them a week ago.

Apparently Boomer likes the rearrangement of the presents under the tree; he spent most of yesterday afternoon there and a bit of time in the evening. Picture attached of my handsome boy.

He really is a handsome boy. He's only missing a Christmas hat (fun to imagine, but I can't imagine a kitty keeping one on, haha). I hope you all have a wonderful day today! Good luck on your walk!

Ha! I was thinking he needed a Christmas hat under the tree, and then I saw your avatar pic on Carla's post and realized he has a hat there! No wonder why I thought he'd look so fetching with one on! :joyful:

Got out to 3 places this morning. No eagles :( No songbirds except for some uncooperative Gold Finches and an equally uncooperative pair of Cardinals. But I did spot one of the Great Horned Owls in the cemetery. Going to another location this afternoon where there is a pair of Great Horned Owls that come to nest. I've heard they're back but couldn't find them a week ago. Hopefully better luck today.

I think Boomer is down there claiming those huge Christmas gifts. Who else could they possibly be for since he rules the castle? Such a handsome king, he is :)

Good luck with the Great Horned Owl hunt!
