Zener is feeling better this morning. I only had to open one can of food to get him to eat an ounce. His appy is better than yesterday morning but not quite as good as it has been recently. I decided to save the second flavor in case he drops at +2. We got another 4" of snow overnight and more forecast for today. Yippee! :-D :-D

Sending mega poo vines to Moonie and calm and healing energy to Roni. She is dealing with so much right now. Healing energy to Kibby and Noni. Don't forget to use the shopping icons to fund FDMB. Happy Caturday LL!

Hi Liz, glad Zener is feeling better and appy is a little better, too. It looks like he may have another of those nice Zener slides. Wow on the 4" of snow. Do you have snowplows coming thru your way? It's been so long since i've lived in PA and seen that much snow. Have a nice weekend.

Re: 12/15 Zener AMPS 152;+2 121

I'm glad Zener is feeling better this morning. Hopefully his appy will completely return soon. Nice blue start to the day.

Nice blue surf for the Z-man! Now to get that appy surfing too!

Jealous! Jealous! Jealous! on the snow! XC skiing in CA is a challange. Not many trails and you need to be over 7000 feet for decent snow, huff-puff!!! I am totally acclimated to 300 feet now!

Nice blue surf for Zener today. Yay on the snow! Hope you get out and enjoy it. Great news on Z man's appy. Have a warm safe night all!

Very nice set of blues today. Neko decided to join Zener this afternoon. Paws crossed for continued good appy. I hope you got out on the snow today. :-D We have some on the mountains which is close enough for me. It's 25 minutes from skis on the roof rack at home to standing ready to go on the hill.

Re: 12/15 Zener PMPS 196

It's been a blue, relatively flat day for the big guy, much shoveling and snow blowing by the MamaBeans, and nice kitty paths dug (3 times) in the yard.

@Ann & Maggie - he is feeling better this afternoon, and even did a little bird hunting. The birds come on our back porch to a feeder we put close during the winter. Zener took a swat at one that got a little to close too his head. He was VERY excited! Snow total this afternoon at our house was 18" and it seems to have stopped for now. Snowplows come on our street often and plow in our driveway just as soon as we get it cleared.

@carla - he is continuing to improve and his appy was good at PM shot time. He started blue and stayed blue! :-D

@Ann & Tess - he was on his snowboard surfing the blues today. ;-) Appy improved too. We have plenty of snow for XC skiing and great places are just minutes away. There is a place in our neighborhood where you can access the forest so it's practically like walking out your door to ski or snow shoe. We are at 7000 feet. If you want groomed trails you have to drive about 30 minutes to the Nordic Center at 8300 feet.

@Melissa & Mr T - the big guy was riding the blues today. I even saw some streaks of blue in the snow while shoveling! Not too much time to get out and enjoy today, we were trying to keep pace with shoveling and blowing. Tomorrow at 9, Liz is going XC skiing with a friend, and sun is in our forecast.

@Wendy & Neko - so, Neko and Zener lazed around in the blues! Appy definitely improved though not quite back to what it was. If we want to downhill ski we have to travel about the same distance as you, less than half an hour from skis in car to the lift. My knees are too bad for downhill anymore, but Liz still does that on occasion. She is more into XC and I do snow shoeing. The kitties are disgusted and prefer no winter sports - other than bird watching at the feeders!

Snow plow just took another turn down our street. Funny, it makes a heap of racket and the kitties don't bat an eye, but if the UPS truck pulls up, they start growling! Looks like we have weathered this storm and this latest blip in Zener's feeling and eating good. He is relaxing on his heating pad and taking a post-dinner nap.

Hope everyone in LL has a peaceful Caturday evening. cat_pet_icon

Re: 12/15 Zener PMPS 196

HI Anne....well, I had fun, just sitting here, reading about the snow activities there. Your making kitty paths sounds like me, snowblowing paths to get to bird feeders. We don't have so much snow as you do... yet.
It won't be long.....this is almost Buffalo.
There was a time, I had to blow paths for the little short legged dog too. She didn't want to get her prissy little feet wet.

I hope Mr Zener surfs the pretty blue for you tonight. It makes for good sleeping. :-D

Re: 12/15 Zener PMPS 196

haha...snow. That just sounds funny! Glad to hear that Zener's appy is a bit better. Tell him that Shasta's is better, too but she'd like for his to get better(er)! :-D Stay warm and don't work too hard...it is the weekend! ;-)

Re: 12/15 Zener PMPS 196

Oh are you ever lucky to have good snow! We are still waiting. Of course the plow is going to plow you in (and that snow, laced with salt and crud, is hard to shovel). Funny about the kitties and the UPS truck. There must be something about UPS men. Friends of ours have a wild turkey who visits them regularly. He hates the UPS man and the UPS man will not even come up to the house because the turkey is so fierce. The packages are left out by the road!

Nice numbers today, Z. Watch out for those birds!

Enjoy the skiing, Liz, and snowshoeing, Anne. We are still walking with our feet on the ground.

I love those blues for Zener! I hope his appy picks back up.

Oh all that shoveling sounds like too much work so saith the Energizer Bunny   I'd rather scrape pool tile ;-)

Despite having a little punk period, Zener's had blues for 24 hours! Appy is up a bit more tonight.

@Barb & Checkers - glad you could enjoy our snow! The paths for the kitties just happen to go by our bird feeders too. It's kitty TV, they are not the best of hunters so the birds are pretty safe, unless they fly into a window and knock themselves goofy. Where is all your lake effect snow in the snow capitol of Buffalo? Surfing blue as requested. ;-)

@Deborah & Shasta - passing along Shasta's appy instructions to Zener. He ate better tonight, maybe because she asked?

@Ella - it is our first significant snow of the season, 2 feet final total. Fortunately we don't have to deal with salt here, can't risk getting it in our precious water supply. Volcanic cinders are in much greater supply than our water, so that's what gets spread on the streets. Works pretty good too, except for the high incidence of cracked windshields. Funny story on the turkey and UPS! Hope your feet are on snow soon.

@Marje - he's been nice blues and his appy seems a bit better tonight. He's not asking for food like he has been the last couple of weeks, but he is eating what I put in front of him, so that's progress. I will not trade the shoveling for pool tile scraping, that sounds far too tedious!   Stay warm down there in the cold, cold desert night! ~O)

Looks like a low blue surf setting up, so no PJ party tonight. Ni Ni LL. I-)
