as is apparent by his ss hes proving interesting to dose. the last few mornings hes gotten nothing in the pm because hes been low /normal without. the plan as was advised was to start him this AM on .25 AM and PM.. if i give him that now im scared hell go low. Please advise?

Sorry nobody answered you. He was on too much insulin and the depot definitely needs to drain. So relieved to see you are now testing before every shot. Maybe by tonight he will be high enough to shoot .25. I would get a +4 as cats often drop 3-4 hours after eating. You are picking up food 2 hours before amps and pmps, right? Get a test maybe at +11.5 so that if he’s too low to shoot you can see if he’s on the way up.

So with the exception of yesterday evening he usually finishes his meal within about 2hrs of it being put down, if he hasn’t we pick it up anyways as he’s raw fed.
 
It’s way less trouble than I thought it would be, other than I’m nervous for travel this weekend, but I’m hoping to stock up on our preferred brand as where we’re headed is about 7% lower tax wise.
