Am I dealing with glucose toxicity? Insulin that is loosing potency? Just a cat ?

Gizmo loves his chicken hearts. When I put them in his after-shot snack bowl he can smell them and once that happens trying to get his shot into him is hilarious. He has one thing only on his mind - getting to those pieces. He has even gotten up on the counter (a BIG no-no) when I am cutting them up. I am giving 1/2 FD heart when I give it to him (2-3x's/week).

Last day of work for the year!! YAY!

My plan (depending on his number) is to give MC @ +3.5 and then add MC to his +4.5 snack so I can leave for work in 30-45 min.

Weakening insulin is unlikely, unless the vial is very old, has been left out on the counter a lot, has little pieces of something floating around in it, or was otherwise contaminated.

But, of course, you never know. In 3 years and 9 months , I've often suspected it, but it never was.

Off till Jan 2nd. I have appointments Mon, Tue and Wed of next week and need to get Gizmo in for a follow up urinalysis sometime too so next week will be busy.

I have no idea what this morning was all about. Very strange (for Gizmo).
