Good Morning, Everyone,

1 degree here this morning. Beautiful snow. Looks like some sun later.
Rusty had a magnificent play last night just before bedtime with "Yellow Tail", a small catnip mouse. He really attacked it, tossed it, chased it--a whirlwind of activity! Then he dug into his bedtime snack (It included a little Merrick Cowboy Cookout, a food he had for the first time yesterday and which he really liked earlier in the day). I guess it is a hit, because he ate it so fast at bedtime that he scarfed and barfed (just a little!). Then he hopped up on the bed and dreamed a major scale! What a cat!
This morning we had a good test (got blood on the 1st try!!), a good shot, breakfast has been set out and some of it eaten (half Wellness Chicken, half Cowboy Cookout), we played with Red Ears, and then with Big Bug. Now Rusty is lounging on his perch. All Ps are present.

I've got to tackle Xmas cards today, maybe bake a batch of cookies.
Everyone have a lovely day, and keep warm!

Ella & Rusty

Re: 12/15 Rusty AMPS 125

Sounds like one happy Boy!!!! What a great WCR--One degree, it may as well be the same here--Windy & cold--We All need to stay warm.

Re: 12/15 Rusty AMPS 125

Miss Ella??? You making cookies??? REALLY???? Can I come and help? I LUBS cookies... ~~ Mannie ~~ uhhhhhh - are they FD friendly cookies?

What a great Rusty report. :-D I have found that Mannie really likes the Merrick line. He eats just about everything, but especially enjoys Merrick. Those foods always create a 15 minute face wash - must be really good stuff.

Somehow you have to get a recoding of Rusty's singing. :-D A major scale last night ? Impressive!

Enjoy all that snow. I hope all affected by the harsh cold weather are fairing OK - you guys included. None here for us - just lots of rain followed by the inevitable flooding. All that snow is in our mountains - much to the delight of skiers and snowboarders.

have a great day!

Hey Rusty - thanks for coming with the KTSS yesterday - I feel so much better, and smell normal now. It was so cool that you could bring Ted and Miss Emily. I have missed them. See you later maybe? ~~ Mannie

It sounds like Rusty is just a wonderful addition to your family. Glad he's such a happy and good boy.

Re: 12/15 Rusty AMPS 125

Glad to see that Rusty had a good night last night, followed by a good day today! Nice amps, nice eatin', nice playin' and nice beans to hang around with!

LOL at your question in regards to the "floater"...first of all, I couldn't imagine finding a "floater" in the river...ewww...and how sad. ACHIEVA is a human service provider...I work in the vocational department in the cleaning and janitorial service. We hire/train/supervise people with intellectual disabilities (PC word for these guys are consumers, but I refer to them as employees) who clean for a living. This is a paid job for those employees, not just a training service. We have 11 accounts, soon to be 12. Each account has one crew manager (Staff)-one has two and we are working on hiring 2 more as assistance to the accounts that have more than 7 employees- and anywhere from 3 up to 13 employees. A "floater" for me is a person who is trained to work at all of our accounts and covers that account when the regular crew manager is off sick or on vacation. In the event that no one is off sick/vacation, they go to the accounts and work with any of the individuals who may need some extra training or do some detailed cleaning that our employees can't due to their disability or our inability to supervise one on one while the detailed work is being done. Hope that answers your question!

Auntie Ella....now you is baking cookies!! OMG, my mums baked cookies all last week and I hate to say dis but I don't wanna look or smell anudder cookie for a long while! Day smelt good at first, but den I realized dat as long as mums was baking, I wasn't gettin any lubins......So make sure dat you gives me frienz Rusty some lubins while you is baking so dat he doesn't feel neglected!!.........Lubs Spot

Re: 12/15 Rusty PMPS 108

Hi again,
I think it got up to about 12 degrees today. But we're to have a warming trend tomorrow (highs in the upper teens).
Rusty and I just finished a game with Big Bug and we're getting ready to watch some TV later. His dinner has been mostly consumed (loves that Cowboy Cookout! and he got a little tonight again, alongside Wellness Turkey). Next time I go to Plattsburgh I'll look for the Merrick Surf 'n Turf that Mannie recommends; the other Merrick flavors I have here are too high in carbs to feed on a regular basis (I had them to bring Stu up from his dives, but so far Rusty doesn't need to be "brought back up"--neat, huh?--antijinx)

The cookies for today have been made: FD friendly (if anything is!) "Cinnanuts" (crispy cinnamon bars with chopped walnuts on top--a recipe from the 1950s that my mother got from one of her friends; these are my favorite Xmas cookies!).

Everyone enjoy the evening,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 12/15 Rusty PMPS 108

Nice pmps there Rusty! Good job.

Cinnanuts. interesting! They sound really good. enjoy your cold weather heat wave - brrrrrrrrr!

Hey Rusty! I am so happy for you! You get Cowboy Cookout - and when she can your bean will get you some Surf and Turf. I really like that one... YUM! Grammie's Pot pie is soooooo good too, but I don't get that one much. That's diving food, I guess. Tell your bean that the cookies sound so good.... they have to be FD friendly if they gots cinnamon. Did you get one? See you! ~~ Mannie
