Happy Wednesday to you all! Shadow has 3 Ps so far this morning. Strange numbers he has.
He is purring and bring such a sweet joy to our daily routine. He is eating the rest of his breffis now.

I will be thinking about you today. Good luck with your scan. I'm not sure what to wish for on a scan... Something that they can see so it can be treated or nothing to worry about but then you don't have a solution to why you don't feel so well. Although I guess they have already determined the problem for the most part but not the extent or involvement...?

Can you tell I have no idea what I'm talking about? But my heart is with you - our sweet Pat. :YMHUG:

I am sorry that I missed all that was going on with you yesterday. I hope things will be better soon. Good luck today with the scan. Mannie and I will be thinking of you.

Nice numbers for Shadow, glad he is behaving nicely for you. I've been absent from the condos a lot the last few days, i'm sorry that you're feeling so lousy, Pat! Hopefully the scan will go well, the doc will get the info s/he needs, and you'll be on the road to feeling more like yourself very soon! I wish there was a way to speed up the process...but since there isn't, I'll send healing vines and snowflakes and positive thoughts to try to help make the wait more bearable. (((Pat)))

(((Pat))) ...I am also sorry I missed everything going on with you and I am sending positive healing vines your way. I know how difficult thyroid adjustment can be as I have had a couple friends go through it. I really hope the scan went well and they can get this figured out and get you back to normal. Do you know if you will have I131? On the positive side, it's great to be able to eat all the stuff you want at Christmas and not gain weight ;-)

We'll all be anxious to hear what the results of the scan are and in the meantime, I hope you can get some rest/peace.

They gave me the cd of the thyroid scan ....they both have a bright white light...both sides of the thyroid...it is shaped just like a butterfly you know....with a bridge between the two wings. I have NOT idea what I ma looking at. :lol: My husband watched them as they did it...and he saw the screen yesterday. he said it look fine to him. LMHO!
They did a scan of my thigh and one of my thyroid to see how much iodine the thyroid had taken up...compared to the thigh. I asked the woman "Why the thigh?"
Across the room, my husband yelled out "Because it is for the THIGHroid"
Oh yeah....we are a great team! :lol:

Hey Pat, Your sense of humor (and DH's) are unimpaired!! Will the doctors tell you what those pictures mean???

So nice of Shadow to be so interested in his greens that he didn't have time to worry about you.
