Morning all!

So I checked him in the wee hours because he was meowing and acting like a starving fool. Clearly not low. He seems awful hangry today/last night. He normally gets a snack about +9 but he was acting nuts about an hour later so tested and gave one small tsp of food. I expected it to mess with amps more. But he actually came down just a tad. Is this normal dip at preshot or does this maybe his pancreas is coming back to life?

We are a ways off remission so no worries not trying to decrease his insulin or anything. In fact depending on what we see today/tomorrow may be a possible increase. Just curious if maybe my boy is starting to heal

Do you think I could get away with a +6? I have to run out and take care of a couple things.

Should I feed a slightly higher carb? I dont want to ruin our slide I am pretty sure he is heading for green...

LC and testing at +6 should be fine. Leave food out for him as well.

At his dose I would not give a +9 snack as it could cut duration. We usually suggest the +9 when on a small dose to bring down the amps.

I agree but if I dont give him one around +9 to 10 he gets very hangry mean...like biting me mean. I give him very little. A small tsp and always lowest carb I have 1%. That is just a time of day especially mornings that he is at his worst.

Thankyou! I do strive to curb him easier in evening but at 5 and 6 am harder to ignore LOL
