Good chance the bounce is cleared - hope so. :)

I meant to pile onto yesterday's conversation about supplies. The cheapest strips in Canada are the Bravo test strips/meter. I live close enough to the border so I just cross border shopped in bulk. Loved the look on the border guards faces when I told them my most expensive item was diabetes test strips for my cat. :p
 
I’m still not sure I understand bouncing. I get that he was in low numbers and his body decided to react - but isn’t that because the insulin is working and got him low in the first place? Pinks and red since those nice blues two days ago. Upset tonight.
 
It can take 6 cycles or 3 days for the bounce to clear. Numbers can wobble around during the bounce. Or he might have hit bluesville again during the day today. Cats can bounce from numbers lower than they are used to, it doesn't have to be a very low BG. Some cats will even bounce from yellows if they aren't used to it. Over time and as he gets more used to blues, he won't bounce as high when he sees them.
