Well, after having to postpone civvie Cleo's dental and cyst removal a few times due to problems with DM, we finally got it done today!! It was all kinds of fun figuring out how to feed 2 out of 3 cats this morning, but I got it done! Now we just have to take it slow tonight and hopefully tomorrow she'll be able to eat normally.

She lost 3 teeth and was put on Clindamycin for a week so this should be fun....she's never been on medication of any kind before so I hope my pill gun skills aren't too rusty!!

She's got several stitches where they removed the cyst that I can either take out myself or return her back in 10-14 days.....I don't have any problem removing them myself IF the cat will cooperate!

I'm so glad to have that cyst gone and sure hope we don't have to ever deal with lumps again! It had filled back up a couple of times since it was originally drained and then burst open on it's own......ICK!!

China's been an absolute love bug today....since I got home from dropping Cleo off to the time I had to go pick her up again, she's been snuggling with mama and mama loves her snuggles

Cheaser and China aren't real happy with how Cleo smells, so there's some hissing and spitting going on ...hopefully that will calm down soon

I'm so glad you were able to get Cleo's dental and cyst removal done. I hope she recovers quickly and you can get her meds into her. It sounds like China was trying to keep you from worrying.

Finally got a good look at the incision site where they removed the cyst.....it's a lot bigger than I thought it was....at least 10 stitches that I can count! Sure hope it heals well and we're done with that adventure!

Awwww thanks Rusty but I think mama wants me to paddle a bit tonight ....something about not getting my usual exercise in today since she had to go pick up da civvie

She's eaten twice tonight.....we just had to start slow to make sure she wasn't going to have any problems with nausea/vomiting.....Hopefully the clindamycin doesn't cause any problems either so tomorrow we can get back to "normal"

This morning was when I had so much fun trying to feed 2 out of 3 because I shoot China at 6am but Cleo didn't need to get to the vet until 8am (and had to be NPO)

and WOO HOO!!! Got the first capsule of clindamycin down her!! 1 down....13 to go!!
