A nice start to the day for Trix...mid-blues for her AMBG aren't too bad, but how 'bout some low blues next? Maybe even green? Since food really seems to be influencing how much she drops, I have to figure out a more "useful" testing schedule for her. I'm usually not home or awake 3-ish hours after she eats, since I do stuff food into her until I head out for work or go to bed. When she gives me her out-of-range "PS" numbers, I do like to make sure she's bringing it down on her own, just in case. I dunno....just thinking out loud. She's really not doing anything unusual here...I'm just over-thinking, even though I should be used to her trends by now :roll: !
She is feeling feisty, spunky, snuggly, with a happy appy Last night she was so cute...I discovered a little knot on one of her flanks. I know she doesn't like to be brushed, so I snipped it back as best I could before I attempted to brush out the remains. Oh, when I brought out that brush...even though I ever-so-gently ran it down her fur, she was not please with me at all :evil: ...she swatted and gave me the sweetest warning nip - mouth wrapped around my hand without an ounce of pressure, just enough to remind me she does have a few teeth left and she's not afraid to use them if I don't put that stinkin' brush away! I don't know why she hates it so much. The only thing I can think of is that she has that "twitch" where her back fur rolls (I can't remember what that's called), so maybe she's hypersensitive to the sensation of the brush.
I got the bulk of my Christmas shopping done yesterday, with a few little "rewards" for myself, too :roll: ...I'm so weak sometimes :lol: ! I'm glad I don't have to face the stores like that again...it's already getting crazy out there!
For me, it's back to my own retail business today, but then I'm off again tomorrow - woohoo!
Sending appy vines out to Tricia's crew....eat up, everyone - it would be the best Christmas present ever for MamaBean, OK?
