Today' s AMPS is 103.

Pretty clear to me I have a bouncy girl on my hands. I am going to be home for the morning for sure, so I am thinking I am going to give her full dose of .50 unit. Will wait a few minutes for input from the board.

What time is shot time? Can you test again just prior to make sure the number isn't continuing to drop?

I think you're good to shoot. I just wanted to see which way she was trending.
Can you get a +2?
This will be the lowest number you've shot at, right?

yes I can get a +2 and yes, its my lowest shoot number, gotta do it sometime, I want this kitty OTJ one day

OK! Since she is at 119, change your AMPS number to that if you give the shot now.
And I'll keep an eye out for your next number(s)!

I took the 911 down so as not to confuse anyone. Shot done, and she ate well.

Thanks Carl. Sammy and I just had a meeting, and she has agreed to stop goofing off and partying, and to get down to business today, even if it is Friday. She assures me she is going to behave and stay low today, with her feet firmly planted and no bouncing. She never lies to me.

She does, however, choose to holler "Hello! Hello?" (literally), often in the middle of the night. You would swear that there was a human saying hello. Of course she is shy about it, and try as I might, I cant get it on video.

she is 149 at +2. I will try to grab a test in about 3 hours.

On a related note, a work of encouragement for those struggling with testing.... Yesterday it was a rough day. She was mad at me, flinching, and I hurt her ear. It was one of those days when you wished you could say "Ah, to heck with this!" but of course you cant.

Just now, I tested her while she was laying on the back of the chaise lounge. (took the testing stuff to her, instead of moving her to my usual testing station). She barely woke up for the test, and immediately put her head down to continue her nap. What a blessing! she gave me an easy test when I really needed it

I was lucky, Bob never gave me any cattitude at test time. As long as he got his shrimp, he was happy.

She may dip down later once the insulin kicks in. But a 149 now is good.
 
hi Linda! great job today!

yes, she's a bouncy girl, but she's clearing her bounces in 24 hrs - that's super. you can see her 63 the night of the 11th caused the bounce - she went straight up from there to the 401 at pmps on the night of the 12th. but she was on her way clearing it by pm +9ish or so when you caught that 122.

keep it up! :-D
