Holding Josie and Ripley in our hearts this morning as Ripley begins her new journey.
Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty is right up there again this morning, after going low last night. He's working on a hairball, so that may be the reason for these high, flat yellows. I hope he can get it out today! We had a good night (except for the hairball hack about an hour before wake-up). After the hack, which produced nothing but 2 drops of liquid, he proceeded to eat his nighttime food. So today's AMPS is definitely food-influenced. We had a good test, shot, breakfast (1st sitting eaten), lung treat (devoured), and a short schmooze, after which he moved back to his little bed by the radiator.
It's snowing and expected to get very cold today (we have already seen the "high" for the day: 12 degrees). Tonight it may go down to -15. Tomorrow and Sunday we are expecting significant snow. In parts of our region--notably the Tug Hill Plateau, which is famous for its "lake-effect" snowfalls--there are 61 inches of snow already on the ground, and it is snowing at a rate of 4 inches an hour!! Here, in the mountains, we have only a few inches so far. I plan to put up some of the Christmas decorations today. The tree, however, will not go up until the day before we leave to spend Xmas with my sister and nephew and family (our family tradition is to put up the tree on Xmas Eve and take it down on Twelth Night). The wreaths, however, are already on the doors.
Wishing you all a good day,
Ella & Rusty
Yo Kitties, Come play in the snow and then chillax on the radiators with some hot tuna toddies.
