This was the second morning in a row he drank lots of water and the vomited it up. I fear his CKD is getting worse. If it persists I will make a vet appointment.

My mom is struggling as well.

If it's any help...a couple of my civvies do that at times and they're kidneys are fine (as is the rest of their health). Hopefully it's just a fluke with Max, but we're sending along prayers for Max, your Mom, and you.....

Ginger does that too...... Drinking and throwing up water in early morning.
She has CKD, so it could be CKD related, but her kidney values have been stable.
