Yesterday was.... more of the same. :lol: We remain yellow and pink, with a few splatterings of red. I think the adding the greek yogurt to help with his tummy issues, due to the Clavamox, and with the LB has moderately helped. But the problems still remain. I've made sure that he has adequate water,and that he is drinking, We've had good appy for the main meals, for the most part, but by the time it rolls around for his +2 fuds, we are back to can after can after can of fuds looking for anything that is appealing. So..... more of the same. 2.5 days to go on the Clav, including this AM's dose. There will be a big celebration here once we are done! :-D :-D :-D Lubs ya big guy - do your best for the blues... All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Ah heck... it really is. He seems no worse for wear, tolerates all that is asked of him with a quiet acceptance. I am sure he would rather feel better, but it is interesting that he seems to listen when I talk to him about all that is going on. He curls up, sits on my lap for a few. He knows that little white container has that yummy greek stuff in it, eager to lap that up. Hmmmm - maybe I should out the fuds in that little white container! :lol: :lol: He was so glad to see DGS yesterday morning. "Man-NIE!" , PURRRRRRRRRR! They shared some breffis: Mannie: greek yogurt, Nicholas: raspberries. Neither wanted to share. :shock: :lol: When I picked up Mannie for his test, Nicholas reached out and petted him, then held Mannie's front paws in his hands and kissed both paws. And then he smiled,a very gentle smile. Now that was really sweet. Best buds. :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (phew!), purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty for the remainder of the week. Today will hopefully be a travel trip, a nice outdoor spot, maybe a creek today if it is not too cold, or wet, and if we have time to travel. Not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! What's up? I thinks we need a chillaxin' day. My bean talks about them a lot... you guys wanna come and hangout in the tree house? I gots some really cool carpet stuff to add, and want to make room for the pizza ovens... I made pitchers of niptinis, and some new cookies to sample for cookie week. What'd'tya think? Yo guys in? And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS's and my adventures yesterday: swimming: a long solid morning of swimming. Another day where he was in that water for over two hours, and even then I had to drag him out, again. What a great time for him. It was another day of non-stop motion. He loves to jump in, once again it was over and over and over.... :lol: :lol: After that, and his much needed nap, we we were off to the local trail here at home. Morning Michelle and what cute, cute pics of DGS, especially the last one with him underwater with eyes open! :-D Love the little rubber boots, too. I sure hope Mannie's appy picks up and sounds like the Greek yogurt is helping. I bet once he finishes the AB's, his numbers and appy both will improve, right Mannie. Cute with breffifs and neither one wanting to share. We have a real winter storm here with heavy rain showers, so probably no walk unless there's a nice break. Have a great day today. I saw the one video with DGS and a cute little girlfriend up and down on the water slides. :-D

Hi Michelle......poor Mannie , doesn't understand why his little tummy doesn't feel right. I'm sure he forget about it, when he's lapping up the yummy yogurt. :smile:
I hope you and Nicholas are able to get out to a fun, WET place to visit today. He sure does love the water. :-D

i so love driving a car and really fast too. there is no better way to feel the wind in my fur and whiskers! and so what that i can't see where i'm driving! we get there in one piece and that is all that matters. now if only my bean will give me the keys and let me drive her car, oooh how much fun is that.

i hear you like yogurt, do you know what is yummier - ice cream. next ask your bean for ice cream. and do you know how to make ice cream sammich cookies - with the melty chocolate cookie or even better chipwiches! let's add that to the cookie list ok.....and can we make special brownies too - I have really good nip that we can mix in and everyone will be on the moon after eating it! mmmmmm mmmmm yummy.

oh and my bean threw a nip party last night. it was lots of fun, i rolled around and wore it on my fur and got it up my nose!

Well, at least THAT color has disappeared again. Poor Mannie, I know he listens to you and wants to be blue again. Have you tried topping his fuds w/ the yogurt? Or mixing it in?

Great pix ance again, I know you have as much fun on the outings as Nicholas does. You mean he didn't have rubber boots before? :o

Sweet little Mannie.. a little prayer for his meds to be done and his tummy to feel GREAT again. I like your idea of putting his food in the yogurt container.. You one smart bean.

Mannie and Nicholas really are best buds aren't they? The stories of them interacting are sooo cute.. almost as cute as the pics of Nicholas!

Hey Mannie, chillaxin' is good some days. Sorry i missed you. My bean left today and i chillaxed in my favorite spot.. no one pokin' me, buggin' me.. i got to be a cat. i love my bean, but boy was i glad when i heard her pullin out of the driveway.. I got gingerbread cookie stuff with anchovy mouths, and tuna chips for eyes.. i'll bring some tomorrow. Feel better my buddy. oliver

That's so cute with Mannie and DGS at breakfast and test time. I hope the yougurt helps Mannie's stomach while he's on the ABs.

Hi guys,

I'm late to the board again today. Mannie, we are waiting for you to finish up that clavamox and get back into better numbers. Soon, buddy, soon!!

It is good that Mannie likes the yogurt. I'm sure that it is helping to strengthen the good bacteria in his stomach and intestines. How wonderful that Nicholas is taking such good care of Mannie. That's what best buds are for!

Hope you had a good day with Nicholas today, Michelle. We still have only a sprinkling of snow, but on Sunday and into Monday we are supposed to get a snowstorm. We'll see!

397 @ PMPS. still pink.... but the good news was that he ate very very well at dinner time, and the +1. Of course In just checked on him and one can see the AB's have kicked in... we shall see how the +2 and +3 goes. Paws crossed. I do believe that the yogurt is helping him - with the upset tummy and the loose stools. The LB stuff is finally beginning to firm up. YAY! It was nice to see him want to eat at dinner too. Amazing that we still can say CPC: sort of.... yet.... these pinks are killing me! :sad:

Nicholas and I had a great day on the Skykomish River near Gold Bar today - WOW and we even got some sun. It was cold at about 38, but no rains, all in all a great day there. There was this guy that showed up to fish, older man, that Nick took a fancy too. He was following him all over the shore line area. He was so fascinated with what the guy was doing. It was great! The guy was nice enough to talk to the DGS a bit, and for once he didn't shy away from a stranger. Maybe he wants to take up fishing... or maybe he just thought this guy had really cool boots that let him wade out into the river. :lol: :lol: I will post some pics in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Thanks Ella, Carla, Mary, Ann, Hillary, Michelle, Pat, Barb, Devon, And Ann for visiting Mannie today. It truly is appreciated. Forgive me or not answering each post individually... I am, as usual, so far behind, and so tired, and really want to spend what little time I have visiting you guys. :-D :-D Mannie had a decent day over all. This morning was a little rough - appy wise, but we got food in him, he cleaned the plates: if only it hadn't taken a MC fuds to do it. Well, bottom line is: he ate, and for that I am grateful. :-D :-D :-D :cool: It is cold here today, and overcast, so no surprise that he spent the day snoozing in his bed. I am sure too that he doesn't feel his best, so sleep rules the roost.
Ann (Maggie) - I believe so on the greek yogurt. THX too on the bids of DGS - I am so glad you like them. yes on the fuds spike - thank goodness that ti was the only red....

Ann (Tess) Amen to that. what a painful cycle this morning has been.... I had thought of adding the yogurt to his food, but I can't give him that until at least 1.5 hours after the AB, otherwise the AB kills off the live cultures in the yogurt, which I am told, is what works on tummy and intestinal issues. so... haven't done it that way. THX too on Mannie - I so hope he understands... LOL on the rubber boots - no he didn't not until late this fall...

Oh Michelle :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Just keep repeating only 2 more days, only 2 more days,….. Have you thought about adding a drop to get him through this? That's what i did for Tess after her dental. Then you can bring it back down after he's all done w/ the abs. And i meant give him a little extra yougurt to get him eating if he likes it that much.

I'm on the ropes w/ Zenner. we'll gets you down. How did you get up there from the treehouse????? We just napped for a minute! -- Tess

THX Ann - I have thought about giving him an extra drop - if he's still this high in the AM I more than likely will. I just can't have him running this high. and gotcha on the extra yogurt - misread that! :roll: :lol: It is nice that he likes the stuff - it does seem to be helping! YAY!

Hi Anne - missed your post - sorry! yes, he's finishing up the AB's - Saturday AM cycle will be the last one. They certainly have messed with him big time this go around, Shesshhhh! We've worked with the appy issue but these high BG's are a really downer. THX - I hope he does too.

Aw, Mannie...time to come back down. Great news about his appy and the LB situation, though. Baby steps....hopefully that dosecrease threat will work, but if not, more juice should do the trick.

Michelle - I think all of LL is counting the days until the ABs are over. Paws crossed you wake up to a better color and this is a slow slide back down.
 
HI Wendy - sorry I missed your post... Thank you so much! This has all been hard to deal with. The appy thing I can work with, but these BG's are just heartbreaking. I hope so too: that I wake up to a better number. Paws crossed! :-D
