Looks like a certain orange tabby is getting water wings for Christmas. Yes, he did it again. Even though I stuck with 1 U last night, Mandarin still managed to drop into the 40s. But, in all fairness, it was a 49 and he came back fairly quickly without multiple helpings of gravy.

Meanwhile, his brother Walter also made it into the lagoon and has managed to stay on the beach for quite a while. Amazing what a difference LC food can make!

On the bean's agenda for today: Grading. Lots of grading. I also have a meeting I have to go to at +3, but that shouldn't take more than an hour (plus some extra time for digging out my car and driving in the snow). Other than that, I'll be home to monitor my two troublemakers!

How are your little girls, other than Iris' assault on your face?
Thanks for checking on them! Flora is pretty much back to normal. Her diarrhea cleared up and I am pretty sure that it was the pill pockets that caused it in the first place. She is a hoot and LOVES to play

Iris is still pretty congested. I don't think I have ever seen so much discharge come out of a cat's nose, she is quite literally blowing bubbles at the moment. Strangely enough, she doesn't seem to be feeling too bad. Her appetite is great and she is sweet and social and will play with her sister.

...and Walter is taking a break on shore while his brother remains on the surfboard. :D What a fabulous cycle for both of them!

Look at Mandarin go!!! This is now the fourth cycle of his crazy reduction and he is continuing to do fantastic. :woot: I am one happy bean!

Tomorrow morning, my Intro students are taking their final exam, so I actually have to be on campus by +1. Now let's hope that I can get some sleep for a change...

Yo Mandarin, Yo Walter! I heard that you are planning to come to the Full Cold Moon party in your board shorts. Not a good idea, guys. If you want to go into the lake through the fishing hole in the ice, you've gotta wear wetsuits. Better to stay on land and throw snowballs.
