Happy Friday the 13th to all of you LB&L'rs. Yesterday was a blur - long day with work issues - took me all day to figure out a problem - was actually bad data - or rather missing data - my code wasn't set to deal with missing data - but it is now - at least for that one component - how does anyone create a patient note without an 'author name' ??? It's beyond me...but apparently someone did...and it caused chaos to my downstream app...

Luci had her vet visit and he said the x-rays revealed that she is healing - but she's not there yet - so next appointment is for Jan 6 - and hopefully that will be 'the day' for cast removal...I think a celebration will be in order!

For now - Luci has a new - no-running-required toy. Per a recommendation here - love it!

Love the new toy! Where did you get it? My Charlotte would love that. Luci will get there in no time- you’ll see! Patient pants for a good solid union! Have a great day!! :):)
 
She's so cute! Catch that mouse Luci!!
Poor her, she still has her cast on, but at least it doesn't seem to bother her as much as the last one.

Oh my!!! I too, would love to know where you got that toy! My boys(especially Ittle) would love that! I don't know how long it would last with my destructive crew (boys will be boys).:cat: It'd be worth the money to let them have 5 minutes of fun!:rolleyes:
Is it just a Friday the 13th thing or are the cats on this board telepathically connected? Higher #s for most of the sweet ones this morning! These kitties!:facepalm:

On October 30, we were preparing to drive to Florida, so I'd lowered the blinds on her favorite window - she didn't realize this (I think??) and jumped up there to have a look out - something about her landing didn't work as planned and I heard a crash (From upstairs)...went down to see what had broken and there wasn't anything except Luci there - resting nearby - looking at me as if 'what???' - I asked her what had happened...and noticed her limping away - up the stairs - I went after her and brought her back downstairs and noticed that her foot seemed to be bothering her - a lot - it looked puffed up to me - I called the vet and they said to bring her in - I rushed her right on over there - they said she'd need sedation to x-ray her foot - and that's when they reported that 3 of the 4 bones were broken...two were completely out of alignment...so they said she'd need a cast and pain meds - 6-8 weeks with no running or jumping, etc. right...

She traveled well and we bought one of those covered playpens to keep her confined while we were in the hotel...she didn't care much for the confinement - after about a week or so I just gave up on that thing...she chewed her cast off after a few weeks and had to go back to the vet here in Florida to have a new one put on - it's bigger - and now she's walking and running on the thing - klunk, klunk, klunk...I can hear her coming and going...it sounds like someone wearing high heels; but just one shoe...

oh my, that looks painful but she is a tough baby and love love love the little movie where she is running, not even seeing the cast...she is just fast and furious. I see she also has a white 'zipper' on her abdomen, just like my Chanel. They are zipper babies and they love to zoom :)
 
Luci's new toy looks like so much fun. I hope it is entertaining her and keeping her from zooming around.
Sue, I hope today was a better work day for you then yesterday.
