Good afternoon to all!!! Sending lots of healing vines to Tawny, Tom, Garland, and any others who need them today.

Ahhh..finally some blue/green again. Not sure if that was Gracie liking her new dose or clearing her bounce. Whatever the reason, she decided that 56 was too low for her comfort and bounced today. Yuckus but she'll come back down. She felt pretty good to be back in normal numbers last night as she was chasing Tobey's little striped bottom all over the place and then doing the WWF smackdown with him. I actually felt sorry for him :lol: :lol: To be such a little Princess, she certainly plays rough and the look on her face when she's ready to dive into Tobey is priceless....such ferocious concentration :twisted: :twisted:

It's cold and rainy here today.....TONS of rain...rained hard all night. I couldn't resist going btb with Mike this morning...all warm and snuggly and the rain pounding on the skylights. It was so great. The kittens are all asleep now...Gus on our bed all sunk down in the down comforter, Gracie in her condo, and Tobes in here with me on the bookcase....I think he watched his video about three times through this morning and all the head jinking and standing up on the screen to catch birds wore him out. Mike is grocery shopping...that man is a saint :-D :-D :-D

DM is not doing well again and I am thinking I may have to fly back over on Thursday. They can't get her pain under control yet....I think she has built up a resistance to the hydrocodon. They are trying but she is in so much pain from her severe arthritis that she can't stand for anyone to touch her. My sisters are very tired; one is getting the stuff from the old apt packed to go into storage (it couldn't all go into the new apt) and the other is meeting with doctors, nurses, therapists, etc and trying to get DM to settle down and eat.

Hope you all have a great day. I've got to do some work for DM...balance her checking account and take care of a few other financial issues for her. Will check in later.

Beautiful cycle for Gracie yesterday. Too bad she's paying now!

Nothing like rain to make cozy btbs. I'm sorry to hear your DM is having problems. Pain can be such a cycle. I hope the docs can find an answer for her soon.

Hi guys .. wonderful report on all the furbabies in your house! I love hearing all your kitties are happy and healthy .. and I am sorry your DM is in so much pain .. I'll add her to my prayer list ..

Marje, so sorry that your mom is struggling with pain. Hopefully they will find a way to control that and help her be more comfortable. I recall my own struggle with pain from severe RA and finally coming to terms with what I needed to take to be functional.

Isn't this weather something? Very clammy and cold and unusual for us. Just stay warm and cuddle with the furkids and Mike, when he gets back. He's a good man for doing the shopping and letting you rest especially if you are heading out again to help your mom.

Hopefully Gracie will clear her bounce and show you some great cycles.

Marje, so sorry to hear your mom is having problems. Pain sucks :sad: Can she take oxycodone? It is a hydrocodone relative that is stronger. Also, is she able to take any NSAIDS? They can help a lot with the inflammation of arthritis but are not safe for everyone.

Hopefully Gracie comes down from her bounce soon. It is cold and rainy here too... yuck!

Come on down Gracie - no need to bounce! I liked those greens on you - looked mighty fine...

I am sorry that your DM is having problems. I hope that will all resolve itself and that they can get the help/relief that she needs. Good luck with everything.

Your rain is our snow! Bring it on! I'm sorry DM is in pain. That must be really hard for her. I hope you can figure something out. I got a good chuckle out of Tobey watching his video and getting worn out. What a sweet boy. :smile: Miss Gracie, how about coming on down to some better numbers? There's no reason to be up there.

What a lovely day for Gracie yesterday! I'm sure she'll clear this bounce before you know it.

I'm so sorry your DM is having a difficult time. I hope they can get her pain under control soon, so she can be comfortable and you and your sisters can relax a bit. We're thinking of you!!!

Good evening!!! Another day that I didn't get to condos....spent most of it talking to my DSs and DM and also doing the financial stuff for DM. Although she is doing quite well financially, I found that she can receive VA Aid and Assistance funds and I started on that long and laborious process for her. The application is TWENTY pages long and the documentation needed is kind of overwhelming.

Gracie is still bouncing. At least she is running around playing like a little crazy baby. So much stinkus pinkus....don't know why.

Linda: I know...wish she didn't bounce ....she was doing so great before. Thanks...me, too....the pain is so difficult for her.

Melissa: The btb was heaven!!! Nuff said!

Devon: They are certainly rough and tumble kittens and Gussie...he just loves chillaxin.

Rosalie: I think we've gotten well over an inch of rain here!! My plan for this evening is to spend some cuddle time with Mike; he goes back to work this week :sad:

Melissa: I'm not sure if she can take oxycodone. They have her on ibuprofen alternating with the hydrocodon and fentanyl patches.

Michelle: No need to bounce is right!!! What's up with that Gracie????

Liz: I saw all that snow.....it's so beautiful but I can't take the cold. I can't wait for you to meet the crew.....they are all wonderful!

I'm so sorry that it's been difficult to visit and check in on you all. I do appreciate your caring thoughts.

I can't take the cold either. I just wear LOTS of warm clothes. :lol: :lol: I'm looking forward to meeting everyone too! VA app sounds like a total pain. You are a sweetheart to wade through it all.

Hi Marje, hope Gracie clears the bounce. We had rain, too. Gracie little girl, I know you're going to clear this bounce soon. That's difficult with your DM and controlling her pain. My neighbor is going thru the same thing, She's 89 and has had some bad reactions similar to your DM. Hope all works out okay for a trip back to visit her. Hugs.
