Happy Caturday!!! Sending many healing thoughts and prayers to all who need them including Minka, Sasha, Harvey, and Cinco; Prince, Clyde, Tiger, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad and also many thoughts to those of you facing a Christmas without your beloved baby. We're thinking of you.

We finally got the CA rains started this morning and thank you, our CA friends, because we needed it. After T/F/S, it was b2b with coffee, book, and kittens. We all ate +2 breffis in bed and I finally managed to get myself up and out at +5 (noon). :oops: :oops: I haven't done that in ages but I'm reading a really good book and I had Gracie on one side, Tobey on the other, warm and purring with a fire in the fireplace in our bedroom and the rain outside, soft Christmas music on the stereo system. From our bedroom door, we have an amazing view up into Sabino Canyon and the surrounding mountains and I was just in awe of the storm moving through over the mountains. I finally got up and at it but....the kittens are still in bed :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: That's really where I prefer to be just reading all day but someone has to be the BIC around here :lol: :lol: :lol:

We decided to start Gracie's Twelve Days of Catmus off with a long LL Christmas (and other) tradition. Yess.........wait for it.....

On the first day of Catmus, Gracie gave to me....
THE STINKEYE
cuz I forgot to put her gifts under the tree!!!



HAPPY FIRST DAY OF CATMUS!!

Nothing like the good old Stinkeye to put you in a holiday mood!!! Remind me to show you Polly's KryptonEye at some point. ;-)

I am guessing LBG's gifts will be under the tree really soon :lol:

Aw, Gracie, what an ugly expression on such a pretty face!! Mama knows better than to put your presents under the tree this early - you know you'd have to peak! :lol:

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts, Marje. We're all hanging in there. The support from friends like you helps us a lot! :-D

Sounds like you all had a purrfect day. Watching the storm must have been fantastic. I love stuff like that!

Princess Gracie: that's the very best stinkeye pic. Good girl! You deserve 2 presents for that one.

I love that pic of The Softest Kitty In The World ~ especially because it shows of her cute little horns...

:lol: :lol: :lol: As many times as I've looked at that pic, I've never noticed them but you are sooooooo right!! Smack in between those little eyes!!! And thank you, my dearest Josie, for confirming she is the undisputed Softest Kitty in the World.

No...Lupita doesn't stand a chance when HRH gives that look.

Well...the crowd roused for dinner so I guess that's good!

ooooohhhhhhh - in bed at NOON? :shock: :-D aren't you the lucky one!? (i can say that because while i wasn't in bed at noon, i was still in jammies with a book in the recliner. lazyyyyy mornings are the best!

I did want to point out that I gave Lupita the solution to HRH last year, but in case she forgot...."Shrimp Scented Body Spray". ;-)

Marje, this is not a good pic (taken with my camera) but Polly has a counter to the dreaded Stinkeye. :mrgreen:

Oh mama! How dare you forget HRH's gifts??

A certain number of days is required to destroy the tree and rip into the gifts!

Wonder what the 2nd Day of Catmus will bring?
 
Love the "stink eye" first day of Christmas pic....that girl is just so cute ! Marje your long morning sounds just so lovely ....we all need those kind of mornings more often :smile:
 
What a stinkeye!

Vyktor is great thanks Marje. Stayed in remission throughout some horrible dental issues too so I'm pretty happy about that. On the minus side, one of my mum's cats has just been diagnosed :?

Serryn....I'm so sorry to hear about your mum's kitty. But she has a great resource in you. Also thrilled to hear Vyktor stayed in remission through his dental issues!!
 
I think I'm going to love the 12 Days of Catmus if day one is an indication. Most extraordinary stink eye, HRH!

Looking forward to the next installment.
