This morning's AMPS reading was 254 :smile:

That's promising. I'm going to pray that Cini stays yellow today since he's a yellow tabby. dancing_cat

Here's hoping everyone else has a nice, quiet, no stress day as well :-D

A nice yellow start for Cini! Hope he stays down for you! Like others said yesterday, you will probably just have to work your way up the dosing ladder because of the flovent. We had to do that when Tarragon started his inhaler and are doing it again with the prednisone pills.

How is his asthma doing?

Linda, Cini says he's going to surf in my desk chair all day. (I am typing this while kneeling in front of the keyboard.)

Melissa, his asthma is doing good. 2 puffs twice a day seems to be keeping it under control. I haven't heard any wheezing. The Vet said if he goes a week without wheezing then I can reduce him to 2 puffs once a day.

Hi guys .. guess I didn't realize cini's trial stopped .. was the asthma a new diagnosis, or have you been dealing with it all along? I hope cini stays yellow for you today! Have a great day guys!

Cini has a history of feline asthma for about 10 years now and we think the toxoplasmosis he was diagnosed with this year may have been the underlying problem making it worse for the past 10 years.

Ohh I see .. well it sounds like you are getting it under control .. hopefully you'll be able to reduce the amount of puffs in a day soon enough ..
