AMPS = 145; backed the Lantus down to 2 units, no R. It must have hit "steady state" i.e. the continuous rolling level that makes the glucose stay somewhat even.
Now if he can keep his appetite and not start vomiting for any reason, he might be able to maintain. He was maintaining on 2 units last winter; in August, the vet thought it was too much and the cause for his sudden lows. I think something else was going on.
