Well, so much for a dose increase .
Still I need to give it some time. What I don't understand is the height of these bounces. I really need to control them.

If you look at the last 12 hours cycle, it's obvious that TITI spent the whole 12 hours above renal thresh hold, That's just plain unacceptable. I know some people haven't seen the devastation cause by kidney disease, but I sure have,. It's hard to manage, slowly or quickly leads to death, and is as heartbreakingly expensive as diabetes.

?????Is it possible that using that short acting insulin would effectively keep TiTi in safer numbers, and help break her bounce?????

Sorry about the big bounce. I think it is really hard to manage bouncing. You may have some success if you catch the drop and feed to slow it down. :bighug:

I've been able to do that several times, but with no discernible difference. It's so frustrating, and worrying.

Probably New Dose Wonkiness. Have patience. One cycle in higher numbers will not damage the kidneys.

R insulin does not help them break their bounce. It can help keep them in lower numbers, but you'd have to test more. Using R incorrectly can cause worse bounces if the numbers come down too fast or too much.

ok. thanks. Well she's up to 443@AMPS this Wednesday. How often do I need to test if I do use R Insulin?
