Thanks Tara, Carla and Kim for the visits last night - I'd spent the afternoon at an appeal hearing trying to get rid of a tenant who no longer feels the need to pay rent, then got home to "HI" on the meter so I was pretty much done for the evening  Papaya is having a pretty good day today - she dove right to green before I left, but I gave her some MC and left lots of food out and the PMPS is not too bad considering. She was waiting for me when I came home, plucking at the rug in the hall while I took off my coat, then prancing out to the kitchen ahead of me.

I've cut down the Metamucil I've been giving her and seem to have hit the right balance between too much and too little since LB action is back to normal!

And I had to share the cutest new vocabulary I learned from a newbie on health, for anyone who hasn't happened across that thread . . . instead of "petting" the cat:

Try googling "I bin smoovin the cat" for more Bristolian... It seems that Bristol (UK) is the only place I know that says smoothing the cat! While I'm not Bristolian by birth, this is the one West Country saying that always made perfect sense to me

Have a good evening, all!

The pink is not bad after that dive this morning. It sounds like Papaya was excited to have you home yesterday. Smoothing the cat. That does make sense.

Very nice day cycles for Papaya lately. I hope tonight is a good one too.

I'm still trying to imagine a unicycle in the snow with snow boots.

Busy day for you Amy! Looks like that dive may allow you some sleep tonight to recharge :-D
So here I am, just sitting around...smoothing the cat :-D . Yup, I like that. Great find on that saying
Woo Hoo to getting the poos all figured out, and a happy hungry Papaya to greet you tonight.

Hi Carla, Wendy and Kim! Happily Papaya didn't go for the big bounce tonight . . . looking like a slower slide so far. After PMPS she sat on the couch beside me staring at me for the longest time - it was getting quite unnerving! She's snoozing in a happy ball now, though, so she must be feeling good.
